We came to have some wings, burgers and drinks. I ordered the BBQ/Spicey wings. They had the perfect combination of sweetness with a kick. I paired my meal with some cider. My boyfriend ordered a burger for $5, which came with such delicious fries. You couldn't beat that price!
25 cent wings are hard to beat. Four of us ate a dinner of wings and it cost $6.00!
They have a good beer selection and will make you a Hendrick's & tonic even when everyone else is drinking beer.
There is also good people-watching to be had at the Alehouse.
I do wish they had a jukebox instead of massage chairs.
If all you have are the wings, then the Ale House is GREAT but if you plan on having anything else…..don't.
My boys and I used a voucher to have lunch, ordered the wings which were pretty damn good and then the burgers we ordered came and that was the end of what was supposed to be a good meal. All of our burgers were burnt on the outside and cooked to temp on the inside. Don't ask me how that happened.
They do have a good beer selection but if you make food, then the food should taste good. The beers are the easy part.
I frequent the Ale house and enjoy the the ambiance of the island and it being a small bar. The staff is friendly, and Riley, the bartender is the best. I decided to use the Alehouse as a venue for my birthday party. I was in contact with the owner Dan to make arrangements. On the day of the event, I show up to the Alehouse to find out that the co-owner, Amanda, was not made aware of the full details of my event, including the bar being closed to the public for the 3 hours of my booking. (The bar actually was promoting another event at the same time). I paid in advance for more people required to close the venue, and the bar wanted to only give me half the space. If you know the bar, its not that big. With that being said, Amanda scrambled to put it all together for me in 30mins. The bar was closed off, the food and drinks were served. All was well. The party was a roaring success. Everyone loved the bartenders Brianna and Riley. I recommend this bar as a hang out and a venue, BUT if using it as a venue please make sure that both owners are in the know, and everything YOU want is detailed out in writing.
the wings are delicious. the wings had a lot of meat on them.. similiar to the tyson wings
. i ordered a quesadilla which was just cheese on the tortilla and ordered a side of guac… it came with sour cream and salsa…
my boyfriend ordered a burger for $5 …. right off the bat that should have been a red flag a burger that cheap…. well he did get it cooked the way he wanted which was medium… but as he was examining the meat to show us that these were clearly frozen and then cooked… he noticed a hair in the the middle of the meat…
he brought it over to the waitress and she felt terrible they did offer to make him another one but at that point he had eaten the wings we shared and most of the fries (which were very good) he was already full…
they did take the charge off the bill but still a hair idk if it was homemade then frozen… or came from somewhere and it was frozen… but that's just yuckk….
this place is fairly new and i believe its working on its kinks
