  1. I don't understand how I could have been bamboozled here by the Yelp community.  Hungry with a fancy palette for Middle Eastern dishes I headed to Alibaba's. I ordered the Falafel and Johnny raved about how much I would love the freshness and have a craving to keep coming back. There was nothing memorable about the Falaffel. I could have ordered it from a street cart on Hillside Avenue. I was greatly disappointed. I looked around the shop at all the famous artists who had stopped in for a bite and was baffled ! Did they receive commission for those photos? The sandwich I had was mediocre…..Chick peas, sauce and Pita. Nothing to write home about. Save your money.

  2. This place has been around for a long time.  The owner is awesome and is always delighted to help you out.
Good foods are messy foods, right? Precisely what you'll have here.  It's a good bite if you have a minute to spare.
You probably wouldn't expect to go back for more, but for whatever reason you will.  Embrace it.

  3. This place is cool and old school. the owner is really friendly and nice. I did enjoy my gyro, but I do feel that it took a little too long of a wait. I understand that it was just him there and making it with care and professionalism but when you are hungry the last thing you want to do is wait. But I can't say that I did not see the sign that said that "this wasn't a fast food". I would eat here again, but it would have to be on a day that I'm prepared to wait.
