  1. another A to Z bodega in the Alphabet City. seewhatididthere

located on the corner of 6th and C. this store is fairly big and brightly lit. though it it is crammed with narrow retail aisles and tons of goods throughout.

rectangular sunlit space full of your typical convenience store goods:packaged eats ( chips, candy, soup, ice cream, etc.) to personal hygiene items (toothpaste, etc) to household goods (cleaners and such). there are also tons of refrigerated units cooling down sodas, juices, and beer. a variety of goods. bright overhear lighting. there are a couple of tiny tables to sit n sip coffee if that's your thing.

there's a large deli counter that does cold and hot sandwiches as well as coffee. i think they do halal food here as well ( rice + chikn etc). i've ordered sandwiches and wraps which are solidly good. there's no signature list of sandwiches here. however as much as i like the fresh quality of the sandwiches at a reasonable prices…the service at the deli counter is slooooow. and forget about it–if there are multiple people.

the chips selection is not as abundant as other bodegas. there's a lot more boojee packaged eats here too, basically food for gentrifiers that's up-priced…you know like cookies priced at $4-6.

this is my frequent go-to when i want to lose at POWERBALL as they have the full suite of lottery offering from pick 6 to scratch-offs to whatever else. like i said i just relegate myself to losing at Powerball when the jackpot is jacked up, but neighborhood gambling addicts are here on the reg playing, winning, and losing at various of state-sponsored games of chance. anyways, if you have lotto or scratch-off itches, scratch them here!

the staff is pleasant. they do move slowly in terms of sandwich making but all in all are nice. this store does close on the earlier side in terms of bodegas like 11 pm on most weekdays and then midnight on Thurs-Fri, I think. all in all, Alphabet Deli Bakery & Grocery is a solid bodega spot in the morning for coffee and a bagel or for your various missed grocery store items in the evening. it's definitely A-OK, nothing special, but nothing bad. good service, decent variety of stuff.

drops mic, so i can fill in these Powerball tickets and lose!
    i out.
    zzz.
