  1. Solid little deli. If this was my hometown spot, I definitely wouldn't be upset though, not the most interesting of menus. We stopped in for a quick bite since we were starving and needed some grub before a meeting.

I went with the turkey joe on a whole wheat wrap. Solid. Wasn't the best joe ever but, definitely a solid choice. A huge healthy mound of Boars Head turkey topped with a nice scoop of mayo slaw and a slice of Swiss. The only suggestion: could have used an extra ingredient to make it stick out in my sandwich mind? Also, no pickle or side dish. I could only eat 1/2 since this wrap was large and in charge.

My man got down on a generic looking salad but added the chicken cutlet on top. He said the cutlet was pretty awesome.

Overall, I'd come again to this little spot if in the area.

  2. If you are looking for a quintessential North Jersey Deli, this could very well be the spot for you.  Packed with clientele wearing track suit pants and t-shirts tucked into sweat pants, this place screams Jersey from it's ceiling to it's old school checkered floor.  It's a family joint.  Al is no-nonsense with more than a hint of Jersey surliness.  The customer in front of us asked him what he recommended.  He responded, in a thick Jersey accent, "eh, I don't really feel like recommending right now."

The food itself is quite good.  The chicken parm on a roll was really as close to perfect as you can imagine.  Good sauce and very tasty chicken.  The italian sub was huge.  All the ingredients were fresh and tasty.

The one downside to this place is that it is a bit on the pricey side.  With that said, I love the vibe and the food is pretty darn good as well.

  3. Best turkey and cheese sub I've had in ages – fresh, great quality, really delicious turkey. Service is super friendly and prices are a steal. Must try!
