But a bad spot. But cone with friends. Pretty old crowd seems like that around all these spots. Had a band that wad playing done lame hits.
Didn't try any food maybe next time.I'm update again.
Great mimosas!!
We did the bottomless brunch for just under $20 per person.
Jackie was our waitress and she was very sweet. She made sure our glass was never empty and came back to check on us. I ordered french toast which was so good, but very small portion. I don't eat a lot, but I left feeling like I had an appetizer. My boyfriend had the breakfast burger, which was also good and filling according to him. They have lots of specials here, and seating upstairs which I didn't check out but I'll definitely be back!
What a great find! The atmosphere is great , everyone is very friendly and the server's are constantly smiling. The view from the dining room upstairs is very beautiful. We actually visited on a very busy night; East Rockaway's Stars and Stripes festival. Our server Chris was very attentive an upfront about the kitchen running behind. (Honestly we have been to other restaurants with a much longer wait for food and not a mention) Are food came out very timely, hot and fresh! The burgers were delicious. Only wish I could have found out some history of the building. Maybe on the next menu they could add a little something about why it is called Althouse 1848. We will be returning.
