  1. The restaurant looks very clean. We ordered the crab meat and fish maw soup with red vinegar. Which is my favorite soup of all time! It was nicely done and definitely satisfied my taste buds.

We also had one of their signature dishes, the beef with pumpkin in curry sauce. Beef was extremely tender and delicious. I had no complains. Since there were only 2 of us I took the rest of the beef to go and that even lasted for 2 extra meals at home.

The dinner came with complentary orange and tapioca as dessert but that's typical at an HK restaurant.

  2. *family style dishes are all very fresh, delicious, and presented beautifully.
*get the mayonnaise shrimp with walnuts!
*super spacious, and perfect for large groups.
*staff are really friendly, attentive, and helpful.
*great spot for tourists and locals!

  3. Amazing 66, is always amazing. I've been coming here for years and never disappoints. (Except when the line for a table is so long). This place is always busy and always good. Consistent flavorful dishes and not your typical menu.

First off I have to rave about their Peking Duck. It was beautifully prepared and plated. While they didn't do it table side like most restaurants,  it's likely because there was no space to do so. The white buns wrapped a perfect portion of the crispy skin,  one portion of the duck meat, scallions,  and hoisin sauce. Tip: if you know you're going,  order to reserve the duck ahead of time. You may not get it if it's sold out.

Second,  I keep coming back for their inventive menu. Instead of your usual Spring Fried Chicken dish with garlic which they have, we tried something different. Orange Chicken topped with thin slices of yellow/orange colored pickled ginger slices and one more thin slice of Pickles. The combo reminded me of mango chicken with a kick of the tingly ginger. Nice finish.

The other dishes we ordered,  steamed flounder, birds nest, stewed tofu, sautéed steak with onions and tomatoes, salt and pepper squid to name a few,  were made the expected Cantonese style way. Just a great classic meal.

The restaurant gave us a yummy dessert – the classic plate of cut oranges and bowls of sweet potato soup but prepared with likely lots of cane sugar and/ or evaporated milk. This is called "tong sui". Note: this is not always available. Seasonal and likely because we ordered a banquet style menu.

  4. This is one of my family to-go places for lunch/dinner and great for large group meals. The food here is on point and they give good sized portions. One of my favorites is the garlic whole chicken. The skin of the chicken is so crispy and the meat is really moist. The salt and pepper pork is also really good! They make it in smaller pieces like bite sized chicken tenders. Also, make sure to try the snow pea shoots!

  5. Best bang for the buck in Queens. I haven't been here in years, but food is still just as good since I first time I came. Not sure if the hours has changed but it looks like they close at 11PM these days.

I call this place, the noodle town of flushing due to their cheap inexpensive menu even though this is a Taiwanese restaurant. You get my point.

Anyway, for those of you coming here for the first time.. Make sure you get the pork chop over rice. This is their signature dish and often sells out. The pork chops are fried but has that nice sweet taste to it, also comes with a tea egg .

  6. One of the best ways to remember a milestone birthday is to celebrate at good Peking Duck restaurant.

The Amazing 66 is amazing because of their Peking Duck was served lean, meaty and cooked perfectly with crispy skin.

The restaurant may not be as fancy as the Peking Duck House but the "amazing" food, service and prices pretty much make up for the lack of fanciness.

That said, I would recommend Amazing 66 for a Peking Duck eaters…

  7. Came here for a Sunday lunch with a large group. They take reservations, but the place was pretty empty when we walked in a little past noon. Giving this place 5 stars because it's clean, there's no wait, and every dish we had was delicious and large. Would definitely come back and recommend it to others!

  8. if you want an elegant setting to eat chinese food, this is the place for you. it has all the standard dishes that you would normally expect. pretty much enjoyed every dish.
