Another one one of my favorite Indian places to eat.
The outside is pretty ghetto looking and it's easy to miss. The inside is also pretty small.
They have a pretty solid lunch bunch buffet. I've eaten here a couple times both ordering and from the buffet (which is always more mild than I would like but that's ANY buffet). I've never had something I didn't enjoy. Waiters are always really good about refilling your water promptly.
The decor is laughable and very outdated though.
Prices are excellent, it's super cheap.
I love this place.
A solid choice for Indian cuisine. With not many options in the area this is definitely the place to go. My wife and I came in for an early dinner on a Saturday and were very happy with the whole experience. It's a bit more traditional of an Indian dining experience in the fact that there are very few frills to both the menu and the place itself. Yes the restaurant has a dated decor, but it's not dirty, just old. The menu encompasses both Northern and Southern options to choose from.
We started off with an order of meat samosas, which were flavorful and not greasy. We also ordered a garlic naan, which was decent but way too much garlic. For our meals we went with the Lamb Vindaloo (which lacked any spiciness to it) and Chicken Tikka Masala which was very flavorful. Overall, it was a good place and somewhere we'll be back to.
And as a bonus its BYOB.
I went for the lunch buffet. I was the only one eating there. uh -oh! definitely not a good sign
Overall, the food experience left much to be desired.
Their food lacked the rich and complex taste profiles I expect in Indian food. The flavors were not articulated well enough. I wish they had a slightly spicy dish.
The waiter looked very depressed(I don't blame them though)
The decor was somewhat outdated.
BUT IT WAS ONLY 8 DOLLARS FOR LUNCH. IT IS A STEAL
I am probably not going to eat here for a while but I am willing to give them a try in the future
the place has potential but as Gordan Ramsey would say they need to find their passion!
