  1. I live out of state but when I visit friends in the area we always head here for dinner. The owner is so welcoming and always remembers us. Delicious food. My favorite is the shrimp parmigiano and veal parmigiano. The sauce and fresh ingredients make the dish. We usually get Victor as our waiter. He is the best. Great descriptions of the food, wonderful service and he makes us feel special. Lava cake is a fabulous dessert as well as the tartufalo. Craving Italian food and a nice evening out? This is the place.

  2. Gathered here last night for our friend's birthday.  Nice atmosphere, knowledgeable and attentive staff and nice menu selections.  The specials were a good variety too.  My friend and I had the cavatelli special with a mix of sweet and hot italian sausages, broccoli rabe and hot cherry peppers.  We asked them to "dial up the heat" on both of ours and they were happy to accommodate.  Birthday girl had the rigatoni with proscuitto and peas in a cream sauce.  Man, that looked great!  My honey had one of their "old school" pasta selections and the kids had pasta and chicken.   Before our meals we had one of their thin crust pies with roasted eggplant – delicious – and the grilled octopus.  Very tender and tasty but ask for lemon wedge for the octopus – it brings out the flavor a bit more, in my opinion.  After our meals, excellent apple crunch sundae and "Linda's" Tiramisu.   Nice evening!  Grazie, Andiamo!

  3. When you check in with the host stand, the guy is so welcoming that you can't help but want to have an amazing experience. Not sure if he's the owner, but his picture is in the front of the restaurant and I absolutely love the pictures of his dog.

Saturday nights require a reservation, and they do their best to honor it though they ran about 15 min behind, no biggie. the bar area waiting does def get crowded.

The calamari was a little disappointing, but the sauces were great. The veggie pizza was perfectly thin crusted w/ tons of veggies and you must like NOT having cheese because it is cheese less, which I was thrilled they offered. The pasta is well portioned and tastes homemade; I was impressed with the whole wheat linguine texture and again love that they offered the option. The tiramisu was more creamy than bready, which I prefer but others don't

The food however came out slow and our server did his best to juggle all his guests, but it was definitely a busy night and nice to see that way at a local spot like this. Again, I felt so welcomed from the onset that I wasn't bothered. They did a candle & song for a birthday too. It's valet parking so have your singles ready.

  4. my parents and i had my mom and i's bday dinners here and it was fantastic! i've also been here for new year's eve a few years ago. superb italian food!!! I also had a salad which had fig in it that was the best salad ever. Even without a reservation, I've not had to wait long here. i have not been here too many times though. It's a bit pricey, but if you can afford it, def worth it, you'll have a great dinner. The front part of the restaurant  on the porch is lovely and a bit more cozy, I found the back to be more suited for families incl kids. It's not a jacket required place, but slightly above casual i'd say.

  5. Wow talk about delicious.

This restaurant was such a pleasure to dine at. I came here for a rehersal dinner, not knowing what to expect, just hearing "oh ive heard of that place, heard its good." Me and my boyfriend were driving up there and as we pulled in we saw theres valet which i appreciated that night cause my heels were making my dogs bark.
We entered the restaurant and I think it was the owner greeted us so nicely, made us feel very welcomed.
Now I just came here for a rehersal dinner so it was a set menu. They brought out an assorment of appetizers first. Holy pizza. Wow. I could go on for days about how delicious the pizza was. There was also fresh mozz and tomato. The mozz was def. fresh, and the balsamic drizzzle was tasty. Eggplant rolantini was yummmy. The entree i had a shrimp oreganata. Very flavorful.
Service was great. My wine glass was always filled.
I def. will be coming back here to try the rest of the menu, and to have that amazing pizza.

  6. Nothing says "Happy Birthday" like a large family gathering and a gratuitous amount of delicious Italian food.  We had a party of about 20 people and everyone loved their meal.

Appetizers were your standard Italian fare, with the bruschetta being my favorite.  My meal was a pasta special which featured ziti, hot peppers, and sausage; I loved my meal.  Everyone at our table loved their meal too.  My only regret is that I was too full to finish the tartufo.

I've seen other reviewers upset about the service but I guess they hired new people; the service here was excellent.  The valet parking was quick too.

Make sure you make reservations if you're going at peak dinner times, this place was PACKED!
