Honestly, it's a $2.00 slice of pizza in a neighborhood without too many food options, but the pizza isn't that good. The crust tastes really funny, and the slices are small. They recognize their regulars, but I wouldn't go back for this pizza if I had a choice. Of course, it's a thin slice, but the flavors just aren't right. I don't know how else to describe it when you compare it to a Brooklyn slice. The texture of the dough is also too tough. There's never anyone in here, by the way, so expect your slice (which is charged tax…) in about 2 minutes.
A typical neighborhood pizza joint for when we need a quick slice. Heroes are good, but I'd stay away from the pasta.
It used to be owned by the store's namesakes, but they retired and sold the business to the current husband and wife owners.
