  1. I've ordered from Antalia in the past when I worked in midtown and just this past weekend on Saturday, as my SO and I had to come in to the city from NJ for a couple hours.

We ordered chicken shish kebob, lamb kebob, and falafel. At a total of $55, I was hoping to get more than the usual amount (4 pieces of meat) they give for lunch portions. I wasn't disappointed – there was double the amount of meat pieces, but no hummus. For lunch, you get to choose 1 of 6 options for appetizers, including hummus and eggplant salad. I was sorely disappointed that I didn't get any for the dinner. The 5 pieces of falafel were great but a bit pricey.

We completely inhaled our food. The pilav rice is cooked very well – the buttery texture is divine. But they did skimp out on the amount – GIMME MO RICEEEE!!!!! I asked for extra sauce and they gave us a generous amount of the yoghurt dressing. The meat was cooked perfectly – soft throughout with just the right amount of spice/flavoring.  Watch out for the hot pepper (most Turkish/med places include one grilled/roasted extremely spicy jalapeno pepper) – it WILL kill. I was in flames after 3 bites and I can handle spice veryyyyyyyyyy well (my SO disagrees but that's because he saw me in flames when I had Mamoun's hot sauce – c'mon, that thing causes 3rd degree burns!)

They prepare the food quickly and delivery is almost always on time, so I'll definitely be ordering from here again!

  2. I had the best Turkish food I've ever had so far in NYC. The place is small and very well decorated. We were greeted by the staff right when we walked in. They serve complimentary bread and olive dip in the beginning and everything was hot and fresh. I got the chicken kebabs which they were a nice portion with rice and salad, also they serve a side of homemade haydari sauce (yogurt and garlic mainly) very very delicious. Also, I got a free glass of wine with my entree because I checked in on Yelp, so thank you Yelp 🙂

  3. Food was absolutely delicious but Turkish is my favorite genre of food so I want to be forthcoming with that. We went with a Groupon but we'll surely be back. The bread was great and came with a tasty, unique olive spread. We started with the creamy, velvety lentil soup – unlike typical lentil soul. It reminded me of the creaminess of a lobster bisque. Perfectly executed. We also got zucchini pancakes served with a generous portion of yogurt dip. Loved it.

By the time the entrees arrived, I was full and satisfied from the bread n' spread, soup and zucchini pancakes. I ordered the chicken kebob and Pete had the beef and lamb kebob. Neither was super memorable but they couldn't have been bad because I would have definitely remembered that.

Portions were large and I wound up bringing my leftovers for lunch the next work day.  We shared just one dessert, the Turkish custard and we're not given a choice in that matter. I would have preferred a rice pudding and why did we have to share one?

Great food and service was complimented by one of my favorite beers – Efes. No other beverage will do.

  4. Its good. Not spectacular. My boyfriend and I went with a groupon deal and we were satisfied with it. I would probably not go back again given the food was just ok and ambiance reminded me of my college dining hall. It was a good meal nothing more.

  5. I was in the mood for hummus & falafel and wanted to try a new place. After doing some searching on eat24 & yelp, I came across this restaurant's menu. The hummus was pretty good, but the falafel was a bit disappointing (and not to mention over-priced). It lacked the fried crispiness (which I brushed off at first since it was delivery and could have gotten soggy during that time) and lacked in taste/spices. 5 small balls on top of a few pieces of lettuce and tomato was $8.95. They do include bread (not pita) with the order which they gave a generous amount of. For $16 (not including tip), it was not worth the money. There are better options around the area for less money and better quality.

  6. I found this place through a groupon deal & decide to give it a try.
We had reservations didn't seem like we needed them once inside we were seated right away.
They start u off with a nice bread basket nice warm bread & an olive oil paste not bad.
Drinks we had white wine , good wine I believe it was Pinot Grigio.
Appetizers we tried the Calamari good tasting calamari nice dipping sauce.
Main meal I went with the Turkey meatball dinner comes with rice & salad good meatballs & rice.
My friend had the Chicken chops also comes with rice & salad interesting dish , chicken had a nice taste.
Not much room left for desert but the deal did include it they gave us Custard not bad.
As for the place itself decent size simple decor.
Service was good everyone was nice & attentive prices w out the deal I would say are decent.
Everything we tried was good overall but nothing was over the top amazing.

  7. I came here for the lunch special.  Actually the lunch special here is quite pricey compared to others around the area.  Being a pescatarian, I had the falafel lunch special.  Not only did the food not taste good, but the portions were so small, that it wouldn't even feed a pigeon.  It was so horrible I forgot how many falafels I got.  I believe it was four, all uneven sizes and smaller than the cart food outside.  It came with rice and veggies.  I think I need two lunch specials from this place to fit a halal guy's container from the food cart.  My friend told me take out portions were much larger.  I don't believe it, not coming here again.  Disgruntled guest.

  8. Had a great dining experience here tonight with my brothers. This place serves some pretty delicious Turkish food. Left us all pretty satisfied and my brothers eat like vultures!!!

Started us out with complimentary fresh and warm bread and olive paste. It was amazing! But had to stop to save room for dinner. They had a prix fix dinner special for 26$ which included about 10 options for appetizer, 10 options for entree and a dessert and tea or coffee. I ordered the cacik for app. Its a cucumber yogurt salad…that was pretty good. One of my brothers had the stuffed grape leaves. Those were good but could have used a little lemon imo..tk.be fair, a piece of lemon was provided with the dish.

For entree, i had the doner kabab….yummmy!!!! One of my brothers ordered the special of the day and the other ordered an entree no on the prix fix menu-grilled shrimp. We all enjoyed the entrees.

The dessert was a custard….it was ok, but I wasnt crazy for it. The Turskish tea was amazing!! And it came in these cute little cups.

Finally, the waiters were extremely pleasant and hospitable. Its a cozy and comfortable place for a family or friends dinner. I recommend it for groups.
