  1. Nice local Italian Restaurant in Eastern Queens. Located on Union Turnpike by Springfield Blvd. This has been a favorite spot of my grandparents for years. Good food, and a very attentive staff.

  2. Calamari – crispy, not chewy

    Eggplant Parmesan – G said it was very tasty

    Chicken Parmesan – it was good, not great. The sauce tasted like it was from a jar

    Penne pasta with garlic and oil – This was the star of the show. This was the best I have ever had in my life. I never rave about pasta, but holy cow was this good. I could have eaten this for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The garlic was smooth, the pasta was evenly coated, it was perfect.

    The final bill was reasonable.

    The interior is very dated and needs a total renovation. You get the feeling that it's dirty but it appears clean..enough.

    We would probably not try this a second time, but wow was that penne pasta amazing.
