  1. Omg so slow. I came in during my lunch break to grab something quick. I understand it was a hot day, but it took 26min. Burned up all my time. There were only 2 customers in front of me. I didn't even order something fresh, or made to order, I just wanted chicken and fries they had prepared behind the glass. I was dying to just walk around and serve myself.

No menu anywhere. So how was I supposed to know the price of what I was ordering or what they can make? There was a meat selection board with prices per pound, but unless your only ordering cold cuts this is useless.

The chicken was good but the fries were cold the second I bought them. I tried one as I walked out and it left that film on my mouth you get from the oil on cold fries. Gross.

Place also looked dirty and disorganized. I'm not coming here again.

  2. To celebrate father's day, rather than fight the crowds at a restaurant, we decided to cater food and have it at a relative's backyard. We ordered several trays:

    – Eggplant Rollatini (1/4 tray: $30, 1/2 tray: $45, full tray $70) – Standard-fare with just the right amount of sliced eggplant balanced with fresh ricotta cheese. Tasty.

    – Chicken Cacciatori Off Bone (1/4 tray: $30, 1/2 tray: $50, full tray $85) – It sort of looked like Sweet & Sour chicken. The poor appeal led one thing to another, this probably being the least favorite dish for everyone. No one had anything good to say about this dish.

    – Pasta w/ Sausage, Broccoli Rabe & Garlic Oil (1/4 tray: $35, 1/2 tray: $45, full tray $65) – This was probably the biggest hit, being everyone's favorite. The sausage had just the right amount of saltiness with seasonings, complemented with the bitterness of the fresh broccoli rabe, with a subtle oily pasta. Delicious!! I was a bit saddened to see this dish disappear fast!!

    – Chicken Parm (1/4 tray: $30, 1/2 tray: $50, full tray $85) – semi-dry and ever so slightly tough. It was a bit overcooked, and a bit of a letdown, with this being such an easy staple Italian dish.

So there you have it. Decently priced, some good dishes and some bad dishes. Definitely not on my list of top Italian favorites.

  3. Their lunch specials are fantastic!! You get a sandwich/salad/wrap/hot plate (whatever you choose), a snack (either chips or pudding), and a drink all for $7.95, which already includes the tax). Did I mention that the actual meal portion is HUGE? If you ask for a wrap, they send you TWO normal sized wraps! You definitely get a lot for your money 🙂
