  1. Went for Dinner

Food – 5/5. Absolutely delicious sushi and very creative rolls. The fish quality is great so the regular sushi is tasty. Their rolls, which are all included in the all you can eat, have really good combinations such as the Bronx Bomber having a baked salmon filling which adds great "bite" texture to the soft fish and fluffy rice combo of typical maki rolls. It reminds me a lot of the best parts of eating a tuna gimbap. They have great beef negimaki appetizers and a nice, mellow miso soup. However, I don't recommend their soft shell crab from the appetizer menu as it was a bit too oily by itself. Instead, I recommend getting specialty rolls with soft shell crab in/on them.

Service – 4/5. Very fast and on point. They are quick with water refills and reminded us about dessert (ice cream) when we were pretty much done with our meal. Great service!

Price – 5/5. The $25 tag is a lot at first, but when you consider how much variety and how much food you can get, it is a great deal! As with all buffets, the value is depending on how much you can eat and I personally can eat a lot of sushi. They don't offer straight sashimi as would some other restaurants at this price range, but they have a huge variety of rolls and their food is really tasty so I believe the value is absolutely there.

    Parking – Private Lot (Valet)

  2. Standard AYCE sushi joint. It's clean and it's BYOB.

The specialty rolls are really good but be warned, if you try to order sushi, your order will take years to come out. Our table saw other nearby tables receive giant plates with 10 specialty rolls before we saw our order of sushi pieces, even though we ordered well before they did.

They don't offer sashimi here either. Their hot food selection isn't that great either.
The service is ok and the restaurant itself is pretty clean and doesn't have a cheap feel to it as you would suspect from an AYCE place. It's a fairly popular place which actually sucks since that means your orders will take longer to make. Not the most ideal scenario for AYCE.

They charge $25 here but I think you can go to other local AYCE places that serve equally good sushi and charge less.

  3. Arigato is a Korean-run, sushi restaurant in Edgewater.
    There's mandatory, valet parking.
The space is minimal, with a sushi bar and lots of tables. The last time I was at Arigato, there was a party of 20 people, celebrating a birthday party towards the back of the restaurant. So, you can only imagine how big the space is.

Arigato is an All-You-Can-Eat sushi restaurant. With that said, there is no sashimi included in the AYCE menu.
The three of us ordered 6-7 rolls. But because there was no sashimi on the menu, I removed the rice from the sushi rolls. The waiter saw the plate of rice, and tried to charge us $15. I argued with the waiter, and then the manager, who decided to let it slide since it was my first time at the restaurant.

    I won't be back.

But, if All-You-Can-Eat sushi is your thing, you should give Arigato a try.

  4. Did you say all you can eat sushi! Only for 25$ a person too! I mean does it get any better then that. What I love is that they do not waste either and make everything to order. You do not had to worry having your sushi out for hours unlike in some buffets.

I have tried many different types of sushi and have never ordered anything I did not enjoy. Some of my favorite choices are the kamikaze, tuna ball, muscle, and the sushi option with the soft shell crab. I like the green tea too and is included within the price.

One thing you should know is there is a small lot with valet, it may be better to park on street. I suggest making a reservation as well.

  5. Finalllllly! A good AYCE sushi spot that's not a complete ripoff! All the special rolls, kitchen items, sushi pieces that are not paper thin. No sashimi tho, but I'll take it. Strict rules on leftover food, but that's never been an issue. They've had 3-4 chefs rollin' the times I've went and the food comes out fast and correct. You can double check because they give you back the (same) ordering sheet to order more! I've gone 4 rounds of sushi here and the paper gets colorful as they mark off the previous orders. The special rolls are okay, but the fresh sushi pieces are where it's at. It's not overly packed with rice and has a decent chunk of fish on them. It's BYOB to boot and they'll heat up your sake for you! It's been so long since I've had a good AYCE sushi experience and I'm glad to have found one so close too. 25 dollars for ayce, which is a steal, comes out to 30-32 dollars, depending on how much you tip. They have a small private, valet lot, but there's street parking otherwise. Nice, attentive staff, great food. OH the TNT mussels are amazing, must have. 2 per order for AYCE so get about… 10 orders 😀

Definitely my new go to spot for AYCE sushi.

  6. AYCE, AYCE!

(All You Can Eat)..don't worry it took a long time for me to understand AYCE as well.

We made damn sure to take full advantage of eating whatever we wanted, the way the price point is, it only makes sense to do all you can eat. We probably tried every roll, it got to the point that I couldn't keep up with what I was eating but everything was delicious. A few of the honorable mentions, SPICY MANIA, GEISHA, VIAGRA, and PLAYBOY. The tempura was nice and light, not too bready or greasy. The service was pleasant as well. I really liked the way the restaurant is designed.

  7. So this AYCE sushi spot is absolutely amazing! They have a few more options of rolls that are not fried compared to their sister location in North Haledon. Please keep in mind this place does not do sashimi, which is a bummer but their unique rolls and awesome appetizers surely make up for it. I was incredibly impressed with how nice the place is when you walk in. It's new and it looks NEW; aka kept clean and neat. The waiters were extremely diligent. The place is BYOB- the food is delicious, I mean there's literally NOTHING that this place can do better. Check em out.

  8. I am a little eh about writing about this gem because its so amazing!

My SO found this place and I am so glad he did. First and foremost, the service is amazing, the staff is so courteous and attentive. Next, the sushi? Prob the best I've had from from a AYCE. The sushi is fresh and delicious. And lastly, since the parking is a bit shady and crowded, there is valet! The cutest, older gentleman runs their lot.
