If I could give this place 0stars I would. We waited an hour for our food and when it arrived the entrees were cold. The sushi we ordered was made incorrectly and the naruto roll was falling apart when it arrived at our table. The hibachi had no flavor and was extremely salty. Service was terrible, waitress had no idea what she was doing. Will never be coming back here again

This place is very nice. The food was just so delicious. Service was not as prompt as it should be but wasn't so bad. Enjoyed the Bay Ridge roll a lot. I'm a sucker for sushi with cream cheese in it! Also the hibachi fried rice is so delicious!! The soba carbonara was very different. Was not expecting the cream to be so watery, if it was thicker it would have been better but the peas and bacon in it were sooooo good ! The butterfly shrimp had a weird tasting sauce on it but the shrimp were perfectly crispy.

So all in all great food, reasonable prices for a hibachi. The bar drinks are really really good. Make you feel nice because they are not stingy with liquor.

Been coming to this location for a couple of years now. Service is prompt and good. I've never sat in the Hibachi section; only in the sushi bar. Ambience is nice. Sushi is good though not my favorite. They have an extensive menu and convenient location on Rt. 9. They also offer loyalty points and coupons which is nice.

I think this would make for a nice place to get drinks and catch up with friends.

I bought groupons for this restaurant in December after watching the Master of Sushi on Netflix. I was having this insanely strong craving for sushi that I almost purchase flight ticket to Japan. Thank God I was at least rational enough that night that I only purchased groupons for hibachi and sushi. But it just turned out to be a wrong decision (better than flight ticket to Japan for sure lol). I asked a guy to come here for sushi together on a cold December night. He first said yes but was out of reach for hours. He texted me around 10 pm telling me that his phone was dead and he couldn't find his charger. Come on, at least make something nicer!! After that I took a girl friend here for lunch one day, without knowing that they are not open for lunch. Then, several days ago, I didn't want to cook, so I drove two friends here for dinner. But when we got here, we were told to wait for an hour for seats. We were starving, so we left.

So finally I made it there last night. (I know it's a long story lol) I was driving a friend to pick up her car from Chevy dealer on Rt 9, but since a road was closed for construction, we were lost for 10 mins. Could it be worse???!!! Since last time it was so crowded, I thought it must be super awesome. Well well well.. I have to say I was disappointed. Two of us ordered hibachi and one ordered rolls. It was freezing last night (FYI: 15F). So the girl ordered sushi requested a bowl of soup. It's really plain and highly processed chicken soup with several slices of dried mushroom that costs $2.99. Do not order it unless it comes with the meal. I ordered steak&shrimp hibachi, but both my steak and shrimps were overcooked and the chef failed to throw the zucchini cubes into my mouth twice! Hit me in my eye once!!

FML, now I still have another groupon left, because three of us were only allowed to use one. I am not going back again and I will probably just give that to someone as a gift.

Had sushi & sashimi with their weird house sake, over priced room temp sashimi with a limited offering to boot very slow service in more then one occasion and there will not be another. They don't provide low mein noodles w/ hibachi really?

The quality is not there. Nice bar but nothing really special. If not for the groupon there's no need.

Great decor, great sushi, decent service

The decor is really nice.  Very large and spacey.

The sushi was pretty good and everything from the kitchen was okay.  I am an adult so I refuse to eat hibachi.

serrvice is nothing special but not bad

The Japanese food and hibachi here is standard for nj.  Nothing special.  The best part is kids eat free (kids meal) Monday and Tuesday evenings.  The hibachi was entertaining.  Prices are standard. Staff friendly enough. Place is decorated in standard Japanese decor.  It's dark, and musty.  Smells like oily cooking even when it just opened.

Great hibachi place! There's a little fountain in the restaurant and its a pretty big restaurant.

I came here for hibachi and sushi. The best hibachi is one with lots of entertainment. And I got exactly that! The cook was fun, he squirted sake which is always awesome. The sushi I got was good but nothing special. I went on a Saturday night and it wasn't too crowded! I would come back if I'm in the area for sure!
