This pizza is so good that even 3105 reviews is not gonna stop me from pouring my heart out here…

I'll start out by saying, that if pizza is being rated by how addictive they are, then "artichoke pizza" should be the undisputed winner as the best pizza in the United States…

For me a slice here, is the panacea (cure-all) to all my problems! from my personal turbulences to my professional complications, whenever something is not as crispy, I somehow always end up here… And it works like a charm each and every time! One slice!!! (maybe two) and that cheesy artichoke goodness smoothens out all the rough patches…  it captivates my heart, and overloads my tastebuds to an extent of a Transcendent experience…

The artichoke slice is so Good that I think the "state department" needs to change tactics on how to win over enemies… If you know what I mean.
    Make Pizza Not War!

And like all good things in life, there are consequences, in this case the heaviness of the slice…. And the serpent tempted Eve to eat from the forbidden fruit!

  2. For what you get the price is good. It's a good alternative if you want an alternative to the saturation of $1 pizza joints in the les.
Had the crab slice. Meat was delicious, and the crust was cooked perfectly and had a nice taste. The toppings had too much salt though.

  3. Let me start by saying I was literally eating Free pizza that came with my beer across the street at Crocodile Lounge when I decided to go try this pizza. Why would I go buy pizza when I'm already eating it for free? Do you see these pictures people post? That's why.

How can I best explain this pie…Imagine putting an entire Artichoke Dip appetizer onto one slice of pizza. It's a $5 slice, but considering it's NYC and you really don't need more then one $5 is fair. When I say you only need one it's primarily because of how rich it is. Sure it's a massive slice, but I could easily eat two or three if they were traditionally topped. However, the creamy richness of this Artichoke spread/pizza is indulgent enough to call it quits after just one slice. I recommend getting a slice of Regular/Sicilian to alternate bites with the Artichoke slice and have the tomato acidity cut through some of the richness. Either way it's all very delicious.

Although I love some pizza on the go this slice really needs a resting area to sit down and enjoy. I'll have to try some of their other options next time.

  4. Prior to coming to New York, I've never had an artichoke before, let alone having it in a pizza. But it was amazing.  Huge slices heaping with cheese. Keeps you full all day.

Only downside is the lack of seating. But that's totally made up for with the amazing pizza.

  5. Love this PIZZA!!! I finally got to try the Artichoke pizza and I think it's worth the $5.
We came on a weekend super late like 2am. Had a 1 minute wait but there was still a small crowd.

The pizza is super creamy so don't try it if you dont like that! You can't really taste the artichoke that much but it is so delicious. My friends also recommend the marinara and the crab one so I hope to try that in the future.

If you're a fan of PIZZA like me, you will LOVE this spot!
    I'll definitely be back!

  6. Waited in line for a long time, to pay for an overpriced slice of pizza.
I mean, I get it. It's good. I mean it's really hard to mess up pizza…you've got to be an idiot to mess up pizza. But these guys have got it down. I would just not jack up the prices so much, cause if a slice is $5 now, give it another year before it hits $6, then $7, then……
Got the artichoke slice…and although it tasted pretty good, mine wasn't fresh. Maybe next time Artichoke peeps…cause this time wasn't happening for me.

  7. Artichoke's never disappoints…even with long lines and being cash only. Note: they have tough, bizarre rules on table seating so you could get denied a seat for some weird ass reason – even if the place is empty. However, their pizza is next-level so you gotta pick your battles.

There's a couple of different locations and thus far, I've only been to three. However,  I'm always super satisfied with my pizza. The actual "artichoke" slice is about the size of your face and then some and it's thick and heavy and delish. It's actually pretty realistic to share this slice with someone and then get another slice for yourself of one of the other flavors since the rest are much thinner.

  8. Eh. In my honest opinion, the hype is not real. Over priced I guess based on their hype, not based on food quality. The artichoke slice was just ok, maybe I just didn't get a fresh slice I'm not sure. Crust was terrible, and my favorite part of great pizza is crust. For the amount of money I spent for two people, it wasn't much, and that would be okay if it blew me away. It did not.
