I came here for the lunch buffet and it was definitely worth it ($8-9 I think, that's it!).
Also, the owner came by with some additional free food, which was delicious.
Huge fan since everything is already vegetarian and there are plenty of options for a great price.
Downfall? One day I showed up again and they were oddly closed at lunch time. Sad face.
Cannot wait to return.
This is a real gem. I live across the street and it went unnoticed for a lot of months. Small, low scale place with absolutely delicious food. Feels just like a home cooked meal. Their idlis are like cotton balls with the coconut chutney. The dosas are great too. Their masala chai with onion pakora on a rainy day is to die for. Lunch buffets are reasonable and quite a decent variety. For the great place this is, they could use better marketing. A must try.
Being that half my family loves south indian food and a few of us love north indian, we decided to try this place since they had both.
The south indian rice dishes tasted good and were a good portion size.
The north indian dishes, however, were subpar! My sister and I are HUGE paneer fans so we decided to order the mattar paneer. That was the first time I have never finished an entire paneer dish/curry. This mattar paneer was ONLY MATTAR (Peas) with very few pieces of paneer! They put way too many peas, which were not cooked properly!
In summary, the south indian rice dishes here were good, but north indian food was not.
