  1. This place is the closest thing to a Brooklyn chinese restaurant I've found! The food is good, the service is quick, and the people are friendly. The prices are decent, just a knotch more than Brooklyn prices. The place is small has two tables and a bar if you want to stay and eat your food there. Their chicken wings are sooooo good and if you're orderimg in the store they're  not cheap with the hot sauce and ketchup cuz they have it in a bottle on the counter and its self serve!!!.. It may sound crazy but a place not being stingy with their condiments says alot!!!

The menu is straight forward with the basics from most chinese spots and I've had delivery from this place dozens of times and they're amazingly quick!!!

  2. Who labeled this "Chinese"?! It is nothing even close. Frankly speaking, it should be American Asian fusion. I ordered Ma Po tofu, a darn cheap item on its menu, $5.50 plus tax. I have never taste their version anywhere else. Positively speaking, it is very "innovative". In another word, Americanish. Real dish should use tender tofu grounded beef, chopped green onions, powdered spicy chili and pepper, etc. the one I ordered has non of these, but came with firm tofu, pea and carrots. The watering sauce contains heavy starch, soy sauce, and other unknown ingredients, but does not tease bad at all. Hey, what would you expect for a $6 dish in NYC?

  3. Found asia express on my eat24 app. Ordered delivery and it arrived much faster than the estimated delivery time. Great portion size and taste. Was a bit oily, but that was to be expected. While the fries were a bit soggy, the chicken wings were super crispy! Need to try their punch specials next!

  4. This a hidden gem in Midtown east.  I'm from Brooklyn and like what is known as "hood Chinese food". Most other Chinese restaurants try for the gourmet meal approach. This place reminds me of my whole Chinese spot.
They have an A grade sanitary score but I know they use that day old grease on their chicken wings. The best way to cook em. Chicken wings with plain fried rice OR french fries, that's my go to order. The price is pretty reasonable for manhattan. And they leave the ketchup and hot sauce on the counter for you to dress your chicken how you'd like! This is a big plus, I hate when they act cheap with the sauce.

  5. Loooove this place for delivery!! I'm super lucky, as this restaurant delivers both to my home and work. If you're new to the city, you'll know that it's not as easy as you'd think to find your go-to Chinese delivery restaurant. Or maybe I'm just not talented in that arena, but it took me a year and I finally found Asia Express! The five star Yelp rating and cheap delivery minimum is what caught my eye, and I was pleased to discover that their food really hits the spot! My boyfriend, roommate, and myself ALL agreed that this food tasted great. I only wish they'd serve crab rangoon! I'm from Nebraska, and for some reason – all of our Chinese restaurants serve bomb ass crab rangoon that I miss!!
