“My husband always gets the red devil roll which is also great.”

“i mean, "asian fusion" isn't the most creative name and the neon lights don't exactly scream quality.”

  1. FINALLY, a solid chinese food place!

Asian Fusian has standard prices, fresh food, and doesn't leave you feeling like a fat greasy hippo afterwards. Their sushi is just OK- I wouldn't go here solely for it, but if you're getting takeout with a group who wants a little bit of everything (I believe they have chinese, japanese and thai) then this is place super convenient, offering a mix of asian foods… hence the name Asian Fusion. Smart.

My family has gotten take out three times since they've opened and we have liked everything so far: multiple chicken dishes, veggie steamed dumplings, seaweed salad, edamame, sushi, fried rice…

Also, the staff are very accommodating– they forgot our order of veggie dumplings a few weeks ago so they credited our most recent order $5. How nice (and trusting) !

I was between giving this place 3 and 4 stars, but seeing as how there is honestly NO other decent place around here for chinese food, I bumped it up to 4. If you're in the Sea Cliff/ Glen Head/ Glenwood Landing/ Glen Cove/ Greenvale/ Old Brookville area, do not go anywhere else but here for your chinese food fix.

  2. I LOVE sushi so I was super excited to try this place during my visit. My boyfriend and I went with his uncle and we each decided to order a roll and all share. I ordered the Incredible roll, which had crabmeat tempura inside of it with cucumber and then on top a combination of tuna, salmon, and yellow tail accompanied with avocado and their special sauce. My boyfriend went with a shrimp tempura roll which had kani on the outside of it (unfortunately I am forgetting the name of the roll). His uncle ordered a salmon roll with tuna on top with a creamy wasabi sauce (I am forgetting the name of this roll as well…I'm the worst). We then decided to split a fourth roll and decided on the Red Hot Roll. This roll came with crabmeat, cucumber, and avocado topped with tuna, jalapeno, cilantro, and their homemade hot sauce.

I loved all four rolls, but my favorite was my boyfriend's uncles. The creamy wasabi sauce absolutely made the dish. It was delicious and now I'm craving it as I'm writing this. The workers were super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy but sophisticated with dim lighting. Overall, this was a great experience and I can't wait to come back on my next visit to Glen Cove!

  3. I'll be honest….with a name like Asian fusion and that neon "sushi bar" light outside..it didn't really lure me in.  The wait was too long at fatty fish, so we decided to try this place.
Inside – surprisingly clean.  I don't know why I was expecting it look like a dump.
Service – Fast & attentive.  Almost TOO attentive.  We sat down and 3 different servers asked us if we wanted something to drink within the first 2 minutes of sitting down.
now the important part…the food…I had the soup and salad to start.  Soup was good & cheap.  Salad was great.
Sushi- My girlfriend & i split 4 specialty rolls.  The time & effort they take to garnish the place is crazy!  They bring out this tray with the sushi & there was this cube that lights up in the middle with a mini garden above it.  I appreciate effort like that…Just saying!  Sushi was fresh & delicious.  The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the mango on 2 of the specialty rolls we got.  I LOVE mango but they also drizzled some sweet mango sauce over it & I felt like it was a little too over powering for me.  No biggie though, I just took it right off the top and the sushi was still good 🙂
Prices were decent….not too expensive at all.  Bill for 2 came to 62$  We didn't drink but we ate A LOT.
Disregard the ugly neon signs and non-creative name.
