Perfect family restaurant. You pick the Asian Cuisine and they gave it. Food is tasty and hits the spot weather you get sushi, chicken and cashews or Pad Thai, you always know the food will be good and consistent. Wait staff is attentive and friendly. They put families with kids close together and near the giant fish tanks to keep the kids happy and entertained. Haven't had a bad experience there ever.
Great spot to stop in a for quick, affordable Asian meal. The decorations are nice at this restaurant, and it has an advantage as this area doesn't have too many sit-down Asian eateries. The menu has lots of options and you can usually get a table anytime without waiting too long. The food is solid – I've tried different dishes over a few visits and have always enjoyed my meal.
Consistently good food. Have had a number of their dishes from sushi to rice dishes to noodle dishes. They also have an affordable lunch menu for during the week. Today I had the sumo? rolls and they were really good. Broiled eel, crab, avocado, cream cheese, and then they wrapped it in tempura flakes and fried it.
When first stepping into Asian Grill from the outside of a humdrum strip mall, I was impressed with the decor. I really appreciated the modern/Asian decor. To be honest, I'm not sure if anyone who lives in China or Asia would be offended if they saw the decor or like it but I thought it was nice…
The food was okay, nothing too memorable. I ordered a seaweed salad and a special roll. I can't remember the name of it but it was deep fried and had spicy salmon and spicy tuna in it. It was pretty good but basic stuff you get at most sushi restaurants.
The service was very attentive. Maybe too attentive. My friend and I met up here to catch up and we were deep in conversation. It felt like every 10 minutes we were being interrupted to order. The restaurant wasn't busy at all and it felt like we were being pushed to get out as soon we got in. The interruptions from the waiters continued throughout the whole meal. At one point, my friend looked like she was going to lose it from being bothered so much. I appreciate attention but this felt like smothering.
All-in-all, okay. I would rather go to Nizi but if I was invited to eat here again, I would go.
I've been to Asian Grill a couple of times and it is OK. There is a lot of variety on the menu since there is a sushi bar, dim sum, and the conventional Chinese dishes. The restaurant space is also pretty interesting since there are a few Asian themed installations and decorations. Although it was crowded on a Saturday night, we were seated quickly. I had Asian veggies with tofu which was decent (there was bok choy and mushrooms).
After 5 checkins it's time for a 5* review. Lunch break here is all can ask for: good food, fast service and cheap. Lunch special runs till 3 PM and for $8-$11 you get appetizer, soup or salad and a main course. Everything nicely cooked, love their broccoli with beef or chicken and white rice and I developed a passion for their dumplings.
Delicious Asian fusion! The menu is extensive with sushi, traditional Chinese dishes and Thai! The staff is so friendly and the food is great. This trip I had the Singapore rice noodles which were delicious and spicy! I also had the shumai ( and yes I got excited and inhaled one before I took the picture – 4 to an order!) I've previously had their pho. Pretty good and u can choose your noodle. If you suck down all the broth they'll even give you a broth refill!
They are great for takeout as well!
Although the atmosphere is pretty charming, the food is just okay at best. I went on lunch with a few co-workers. 3 of us ordered sushi rolls and sashimi and the 4th ordered a Chinese dish. We all got a chance to try each others. While not BAD, nothing I'd be back for. Pretty average, seemingly lacking anything authentic in flavor. Sushi lacking flavor in general with a slightly more dense rather than tender texture. I mean, if you just need a place to impress atmosphere wise, this place is really cute. Food wise, you'll leave feeling underwhelmed for sure.
