Welcome back! Under new management. The boneless garlic parmesan and jerk BBQ wings were super saucy. The owner threw in a fountain drink since he had his cook outside handing out flyers. It is hard to tell if there is a social embargo or just piss poor marketing that keeps the place so incredibly barren.
They applied for their beer license, but don't have it yet.
With more food choices its block radius, Atomic Wings had better meet and greet the n'hood quickly, and deliver.
Boneless wings were tasteless and 'abusive' sauce barely registered on the meter. The meal is expensive at $9 for wings, fries, and a coke, and while the service is good, there is literally nothing to write home about at this place. They could make a killing selling endless batches of waffle fries on the street though, since they appear to have a decent deep fryer.
Why are there so few places in NYC that serve edible wings? Well, this place makes me forget about em all. Tons of different sauces and plenty of other menu items for people who aren't wing fans (weirdos). They also serve some amazing sweet potato fries.
I thought medium would be just spicy enough for me but it was actually pretty mild. Next time I'll be going along with a hotter level. The garlic parmesan was great, too! Definitely a good one for people who can't tolerate spice as much.
This place practically made my evening when delivery arrived minutes before Sunday night football. It's like they read my mind!
A huge fan of the Mac and cheese and boneless wings! The boneless wings when ordered delivery are a little dry… But doable. The Mac and cheese is so creamy and delicious!
I've been here a few times and my favorite item on their memu are the pulled pork sliders. These sliders are super delicious! The meat is seasoned perfectly and its just the right amount of spicy. They add some cheese that really compliments the pork. My only complaint about the sliders is that they are very very small. If you're a big eater these sliders alone won't be enough. The sweet potato fries are also pretty good. I was disappointed in the Mac and cheese since it just was very meh and really not anything I will be ordering again. The prices are reasonable.
Loooovvvveee the set up of the restaurant. Large with lots of seating and even a little separate seating area for waiting. Three flat screen TVs, Paid internet access…wifi (coming) and a great menu of wings, soup, salad and more. I tried the Jerk Wings which were spicy with a sweetness to it. Wings were a good size. Not too small and not too big. Best wing place in Harlem.
