  1. I walked in here one evening with low expectations.  It doesn't look like much.. small, divey.  But everything turned out great!  As far as I know, they have everything you'd expect from a diner.  The service was prompt, friendly, and professional.  We stayed for over an hour, and nobody gave us any looks or tried to kick us out.  I will visit again whenever I'm in the area.

  2. Decide to try this place for Sunday Brunch. It was such a good choice! There aren't many diners in the area so we weren't sure how good Avenita Diner would be. I ordered pancakes with strawberries and a side of scrambled eggs with a cappuccino. My bf ordered a western omelette with a side of sausages. The cappuccino was delicious, the food even better. No eggshells in my eggs!! (that's a big fear I have in many diners) My bf liked his food as well, everything came out quickly and hot.. Nothing was cold. Bill came out to about ~$25?.

The decor is surprisingly very nice. Not like traditional diners. They have a very unique taste which makes it feel like you're in the comfort of your home. It is a small spot but well worth it! Now I know where I'm going when I'm in Queens 😀

  3. This place is average at best. There are a few items they don't describe well in the menu so sometimes my food came with a weird surprise…so be sure to ask just in case. Nothing special about this place but it's but it's not mediocre either. They do deliver pretty fast.

  4. Although this place is small, only about 7 booths and 4 or 5 tables, plus counter space, the food is good and the prices are reasonable. The wait staff are friendly and efficient, and, I've never had to wait long for my food to come out. They also have delivery service.

All in all, its a good neighborhood spot.

  5. Yummy French toast and I always get the fresh squeezed orange juice. Service is great!
