Ay! Caramba
“I also saw some reviews of bad service on here, but the guy who took care of us on the phone and delivery person were both very sweet.”
“So far I've been here many times and I've eaten the wet burrito, the four cheese quesidilla, the santa maria quesidilla, guac & chips, and most recently the calypso salad.”
“My girlfriend and I were not expecting much, but we were both pleased with the quality and quantity of the food.”

The food doesn't taste fresh here. It seems like it's all sort of sitting in hot plates and thrown together with little flavor and not a lot of seasoning. Dishes are not composed well, heavy handed on some ingredients not enough of others. I do like the wings though, but I got a burger here once and immediately regretted it, and the Mexican dishes are barely edible. Find a Chipoltle and pass on this place.
We need more places like this.
Affordable, delicious joints with no pretense.
And with big portions!
Their fish tacos were AMAZING (and cheap!).
Hmmmmm thought I wrote a review for this but I guess I didn't. I love this place! It's definitely one of the better restaurants to eat out in this area. So far I've been here many times and I've eaten the wet burrito, the four cheese quesidilla, the santa maria quesidilla, guac & chips, and most recently the calypso salad. I didn't eat that all at once…if I did my profile picture would be 300 lbs heavier. I've also gotten the choco loco drink a few times, it's really good to drink during the summer. My husband eats here with me if he picks me up from work and we decide to grab some dinner before our long trek home. The portions are also really big so you will be stuffed after a meal here.
Ay Caramba has been in my hometown for a while, but I never had the urge to check it out. Finally, after giving into a Mexican food craving, I stopped in for some takeout.
I got the Poor Man's Burrito with chicken. The onions were very overpowering. The chips and salsa tasted pre-made.
Also a lot of signs and specials were handwritten. Makes it look tacky after a certain point.
I can imagine this place is great for high school kids, but not for adults well-versed in good food. Better off going to Taco Bell.
Not a big fan of the food. This is supposed to be a little bit classier than a Taco Bell, but honestly the food at Taco Bell is way better. There is a little spot to sit down in the front, but I felt like the area was not that clean. If you are brave enough to try the food, you may be better off getting it to go.
