I went there just before they closed. They were patient while we decided what to order, but they didn't offer information on their specials or anything. They knew we were from out of town and just looking for something to eat while staying at a nearby hotel in a strange town. I even asked them about special offers. The big man taking my order coldly pointed to the board instead of referring to the entire coupon section on the back of their menu.
I ordered a Chicken Parmigiana Pie and a Calzone. The pie was superb! The sauce was tangy and rich, the chicken was cooked and seasoned deliciously. The pizza was great! The Calzone was okay, but a lot of bread. The place was clean, and there was plenty of well lit parking.
The reason they only earned three stars is because they were too pricey and not helpful. Those two items I ordered totaled $30, and I later looked at their menu and there were several coupons and specials I could have used. They treated us like out of towners with deep pockets instead of customers they were trying to satisfy.
Formerly Angelo's Pizza. They added a brick oven. Great pizza and sandwiches (yet to try their pasta). Loved their eggplant parm (and that's not even my forte). Down to earth owner and staff. Very clean on the inside, virtually new.
Pizza variety: buffalo chicken, salad pizza (yeah sounds interesting but very good) and bbq chicken. Stromboli was money.
I'll always keep coming back to this gem!
While it was one of the few places open last night after the massive snow storm it was packed. And with this of course the server was running around crazy, as a server myself I never get antsy while in a situation like this.
Sure the service was slow, but honestly who cares? I was grateful to be out of the house and ready to chow down on a great meal!
I ordered the shrimp francese over linguine with a side of broccoli, others in my party got chicken Marsala, linguine with clams and farfalle with pesto. All entrees came with a great house salad!
Absolutely no complaints from anyone.
My shrimp dinner was 15.99 and CAME WITH 10 SHRIMP!! HOW CAN YOU BEAT THAT!
Not only is it a great deal, the food is honestly great, in the neighborhood and craving Italian? Stop here!
We actually went the first week they opened and wasn't too impressed back then but after our recent meal, I'd certainly come back.
Way back when we ordered their pasta dishes and nothing special. We recently ordered their veal Marsala and the fish de bacci. First if all, order it with their risotto. The Marsala sauce on its own is enough reason to bring me back here. And over the risotto, they are the perfect couple.
Oh and if you crave for tiramisu, get it here too.
They have two servers only so service can be slow. BYOB.
