We had been keeping an eye for this even before it officially open for business. One time, we were at Rita's and realized that the space next to it had a sign on the roof "Bachi 197". Hmmm, after some waiting, the Bachi 197 finally opened for business 🙂
Ordered the beef teriyaki with noodles and the 2 sliders+fries combo. Out of this world! Everything is so fresh and delicious! The sliders are even better than white manna. Next time, I'll have to try the different types of dipping sauces
Bachi 197 destroys Sarku and its competition. Great tasting teriyaki, but the real surprise is how good the beef and shrimp taste. Ordered the 2 combo teriaki with rice and it was amazing. Its just the right portion size and makes a great lunch or dinner meal. Also tried a portion of a slider and it was just as good as white manna burgers, if not better. My next visit I have to try the fries and dipping sauces. This is a must try for all teriyaki lovers.
We came here on a friend's recommendation (along with good Yelp reviews) looking for something different, casual and quick. Good choice. Cute little place, maybe seating for 25 people. You order at the counter but they do bring you your food. Hubby and I both got the Chicken Teriyaki with vegetables over noodles. Very fresh, generous portions. My chicken was a little under seasoned but the lady at the counter gave me a cup of extra Teriyaki sauce at no charge (sauces are $1 extra , Thai sweet chili, ginger sesame, sirracha mayo, sweet mango and tomatillo) and it gave the dish an extra needed kick but was still very good. The noodles and veggies were great. We got the sesame ginger to dip our Belgian fries and it was delicious as were the fries. The owners were very nice and helpful, the place is cute and clean and the food is a good for a change so we will be back. Of course having Rita's Ices next door for dessert is an extra bonus.
Kinda of a weird concept, burgers, tacos, teriyaki, but a cool idea. I love the interior design of the place, and everyone there was very friendly. I got some sliders and Belgium fries. The teriyaki sauce on the burger was great, but the sliders themselves were kinda bland and overdone. I also wish the fries were crispier. I want to go back and try the quesadillas, and the chicken teryiaki because they both looked a lot better then the sliders.
If you come to Bachi 197, you are getting teriyaki, sliders and/or fries. The menu is simple and food service fast. It is fast food at a slightly more upscale way. There are a few tables and a row of stools against the window, but take out seemed like the more popular option on a recent visit. The sliders were bigger than I expected, but came packed with too many onions. The teriyaki is comparable to fast food Asian that I've had at chains such as Panda Express. The fries were thick cut and fried fresh.
