  1. A buck fifty five and you've got yourself one of the finest bagels in Brooklyn. Hearty, slightly dense, chewy; a bagel of substance.

This place has been here for eons; used to grab a well-toasted cinnamon-raisin drenched in butter at 7am every morning back in HS. I like my bagel with a crispy top and so much butter that it soaks thru the paper it's wrapped in and my hand gets greasy. Yeeeeah.

Place is teeny weeny tight. Staff is friendly but fast, so have your shit together when you hit the counter. Cream cheese or butter, make up your mind already. People have trains to catch and bagels to eat!

  2. I've been coming to this bagel store since I was in high school. The original owner still owns it, and as usual if your in the neighborhood its the perfect place to grab a bagel with butter or cream cheese or any other spread you might enjoy. Nutella??? Because, yes they have nutella!!!

They have a large selection of bagels to choose from, and they are all made fresh in the back. Parking can be a bit intense but then again its located in the heart of 86th street bensonhurst and the parking ticket cops are watching your car like hawks.

Bagels are soft and fresh and the owner is super friendly. It is my go to bagel spot when I'm in the area!

Its small inside there are no chairs to sit, its more so of a take your bagel to go type of place.

  3. Hole in the wall, great bagels, fast service, and good coffee. Not to mention that it's cheap compared to other bagel stores that charge more for bagels that are not as good.  What more can you ask for?

  4. I grew up in Brooklyn and used to come to Bagel Bazaar when I was a kid. This place makes the BEST BAGEL. I've been to other bagel shops in Brooklyn, NYC and Jersey City. No one makes bagels like Bagel Bazaar's.

At my previous jobs, my team and I used to take turns buying bagels every week. Sadly, no bagel shops in the city is comparable to Bagel Bazaar. It's no wonder the shop has been around for more than a decade.

The bagels are usually hot or seemingly warm like it just came out of the oven. No need to heat it up in the microwave. My favorite bagels: sesame and raisin bagel with cream cheese. The bagels are so chewy and not too doughy or dried even after it gets cold. Shelf life is around 1-2 days.

Don't take my word for it, feel free to try the bagels for yourself. If you buy a dozen, I think you get a free bagel. You might want to double check – it has been awhile since I've been there.

  5. Small shop with hot bagel signs in the front. They got their own spacious kitchen in the back. It looks like a normal deli when you first walk in. Love the service, food, and price. Their is a display of rainbow bagels on the counter. The menu & prices are above on the wall.

There is a large variety of bagels to choose from. Same goes for the fillings. They even have fresh LOX.

I tried the bacon, egg & cheese on an everything bagel and the rainbow bagel with cream cheese & jelly. The total was only $7 together! Compared to the city, it's such a deal here! Absolutely yummy and fresh. Love it. It came hot and you can see them make it in the kitchen too.

  6. I finally had a chance to come back! I used to come here all the time in high school. I ordered the everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. I initially wanted it toasted but the guy said it just came out of the oven. I was worried that it would be stale by the time I took the train into Manhattan but NOPE. It was still soooo delicious! They slather on the cream cheese and the bagel is perfectly fluffy.

  7. So this place has been here for years! I also have been coming here for years. I used to come here all the time when I was in high school since it was on the way to school. It's located right on bay park way and 86 street so if you are driving it might be hard with the parking. Sometimes it would be so busy in the morning that the line would be outside the place. I mean the place really isn't too big but still the line would get pretty long.

They have fresh soft bagels made everyday and that's always the best to get them. When they are still hot and right out the oven! They also make flagels which is a flat bagel. It doesn't have all the dough that a regular one has.

They also make fresh cookies and cake that taste really good. They used to make this red revolt cupcake that I always loved to get. Or the giant black and white cookie!

They also have some tea and coffee like any other store. Nothing special. There are some coolers with some sodas and juices inside too.

If you want and sand which with cold cuts they make them as well or tuna salad or something. There are a bunch of different options to get food from here.
Just know if you are coming here to eat there is no place to sit down. It's grab and go!

  8. Best bagel shop around Bensonhurst. I always come home every since I was a child and I always enjoy coming in early to get a hot, fresh and soft bagel with cream cheese. This is a neighborhood establishment that is here to stay.  Sadly the prices of the bagels have rose due to inflation but it is still tasty as hell
