There are several bagel spots near here and by far this is my favorite. Besides the food… its the people that work here. They are AWESOME, friendly…the bagels are great too. I also like their different cream cheese spreads. The flavors always seem to be right on point.
Bagel Club, welcome to my Sunday morning routine.
With your fresh bagels, both traditional and imaginative cream cheese fillings, and quick service, I'm all too happy to wake up just a little earlier in the morning and drive twenty minutes out of the way just to show up at your door. I'm constantly forcing myself to get out of bed just a little earlier to see if I can recreate that magic morning when I was lucky enough to get a sesame bagel that was raw dough only moments before.
You're one of the only bagel shops around that understand that not everyone loves dairy cream cheese, and you provide one of the tastiest tofu cream cheeses I've ever had. But I love introducing you to all of my non-vegan friends, who gasp delightedly when they see some of your crazy new concoctions. Jalapeño bagels? Bacon cheddar cream cheese? Bagel hot dogs? You're such a hoot, and I love you for that.
I'm such a big fan that I don't even mind the crowds and the scarce metered spots that belabor my attempts to get my fill. I won't even begrudge you for the time that I nearly got a parking ticket because I left my car double parked, hoping to jump in and out for a to-go breakfast. I know your workers are always doing their best to work as fast as possible, with ready greetings and smiles.
I know you have a lot to offer, and I'm sorely tempted by your counters filled with pastries, muffins, and non-bagel goodies at every visit, but I only have so much stomach space to spare and your perfectly dense, chewy, toasty bagels are bang enough for me.
Good local bagel store. Friendly staff except for the owner. She doesn't make eye contact or smile at all. We started going almost every day when my twins were in a stroller. I would walk and have breakfast. Bagels are good. No credit cards accepted so make sure you have cash.
Decent bagel shop in bayside. It seems that others agree because there's always a long line when you enter. Whether it's 8am on a Saturday or a weekday, there's a line. But it does move quickly because the workers do an efficient job taking down the orders and preparing them in a timely fashion. There's bagels, bialys, and mini bagels. A ton of different spreads made in regular and low fat. My personal favorite is the vegetable cream cheese on an everything bagel ($2.75). The price varies based on spread. You can purchase the spread to go or on the bagel. There's also different flavors of iced coffee and assorted juices available.
Bagel Club, I'm a fan!
I love love love tofu cream cheese. When I lived in the city, it was a lot easier to find solid bagel spots that offered it as an option but now that I'm working in Queens, it's much less common. Needless to say, this place is my savior.
Though their regular bagels are on the smaller side (compared to the massive ones in the city), their assortment is large and they have flagels! The multigrain one is absolutely delicious!
Prices are great, as is the service, and their iced coffee flavor selection is HUGE and funky! I am so happy I found out about this place for I will now be a regular…until further notice.
Little mom and pop bagel spot. Love their everything babel toasted with cream cheese. They also have homemade peach tea
I'm usually there very early so the lines are never too bad. The service is quick and the bagels are good. I'm not much for flavored cream cheeses but the quality of the bagel is definitely higher than the averages places. The pastries are good too. Parking can be a little tough but since they are quick, cars are usually moving every few minutes. They definitely have a loyal following and you'll always see a few uniformed folks in there. To me, that's always a little unknown sign that the spot is good. Next time I need a breakfast sandwich on the go, Ill probably be making a quick pit stop.
New York City bagels are the best in the world and Bagel Club has perfected the New York City bagel.
I stopped by because I was in the mood for some lox. I have a newborn baby so I was unable to eat my beloved lox for 9 long months. Now every time I get a chance lox it is.
The line was pretty long but it moved quickly. I ordered my cream cheese and lox on a plain bagel then I noticed the $10 minimum for credit card sign, darn why don't I ever have cash? My sandwich came up to $6.75 then I threw in a cookie and some bagel holes to bring it to $10. The guy behind the counter apologized for not being able to accept my card for under $10 which I thought was sweet because in their defense there is a sign posted.
My sandwich was sooooooooo good. Lots of cream cheese, fresh lox but the star of the show was the bagel! Soft inside, hard outside, perfect. I was sad to get down to the last bite then I remembered I still had the bagel holes. Scoreeeee 1 point for greed! Lol
