Another convenient stop along an impossibly busy section of Route 17N — just crammed silly with all manner of small businesses in aged strip malls — poised to tumble like dominos at the first sign of the next economic apocalypse. When these businesses start failing, recession is not far behind.
Like its neighbors, Bagel Stop is a bit on the dingy side. A truck stop/tradesman sort of sandwich place without frills or too many smiles.
Which is ok by me.
The bagels are decent and they sell out by about 2pm — which I see as a good sign for any food service provider — turnover is good.
Not a bad choice if you need to feed that Jersey jones for taylor ham. They will flat top most any TH combo you hanker, and the prices are consistent with the decor.
