Like the bagels, but the 6 frozen bagels for $1.50 is the best deal in town!!!
The bagels are ok here. My problem is with their toaster. Ask for a toasted bagel and it comes out barely warmed through. Have to remember to ask for my bagel well done.
The reason I'm giving four stars is because of the Black and White Cookies. Delicious. Best I have had anywhere.
A humorous side note. Got a toasted bagel and cream cheese the other day. Jumped in the car and headed south on the parkway. Took a bite of the bagel and a glob of cream cheese nearly the size of a baseball landed in my lap! They are certainly generous with the cream cheese. What a mess.
I feel like I remember a place around there having these amazing peanut butter bagels. This was in the early to mid 2000's, before everyone became uppety about this peanut allergy.
Anyway, I wandered in hoping for that PB bagel but wound up paying just about $8 for turkey & swiss on a bagel! When I asked why it costs so much, when the board says five-something, I was informed that BOTH the lettuce AND tomato both cost extra. Ditto the butter on the bagel. I can understand charging extra for cheese… maaaybe even butter, but I've never seen any purveyors of lunch sandwiches charge for L&T. Oh well.
