  1. Went to this BB location for my cousin's birthday party on a Saturday night with a party of 11. I ordered the Frozen Bahamarita to drink and the Grilled Chicken with Cilantro-Crema – my favorite thing on the menu! They changed up the presentation of the Bahamarita since I last dined at a Bahama Breeze so it isn't in a margarita glass anymore, but it still has the same great taste. Dessert wise, you can never go wrong with their Chocolate Island and Banana Nut Bread Supreme.

I wish I got our server's name because he was so nice and was always around if we needed something. We had a great dinner and everyone enjoyed their food.

  2. I would have messaged the business privately but no option to do that here

Came in today at 3:45 pm and told the young lady greeting me that I would be followed by 15 people for a happy hour

She gave me a "look" and said did you make a reservation?  I said no, but there's no one outside (patio). I don't want anything special set up just want to sit outside

She told me she would have to check something and walked away and didn't come back for a while.  Enough time that the other servers kept saying "are you being helped?"  I think so ?

She finally comes out says follow me and takes me to a table on the patio while my first guest shows up

The guest asks me "what's her problem?"  Because she could visibly see she was annoyed

I asked if she was our waitress and she looked down her nose at me "no".

After she left all was well.  Our waitress was friendly, sweet and did a great job. Everyone was happy. There were about 15 of us in and out until almost 7 pm.   The long thin table adjacent to the parking lot.

I would give 5 stars for the wait staff and appetizers and drinks.  The person you had meet us at the door should be fired.

  3. I really enjoy this chain restaurant.  There aren't too many island-y types of places out there so this should take care of any tropical cravings.  They offer great 1/2 off appetizers & drinks during happy hour.  I love the mango crab stack and the pulled pork sliders.  Their paella is really good too, albeit a tad salty.  I usually order their simply grilled tilapia dinner with a side of garlic mashed potatoes.  For dessert they have this awesome chocolate lave bomb thing that is amazing.

They offer outdoor seating with music playing.

If you haven't tried this place yet, what are you waiting for?

  4. Went back hear again recently and food/service was much better. Tried the coconut shrimp tacos which were on point! Guess every restaurant has its good nights and bad. Just sucks when you catch them on a bad night.

  5. I know this is a chain and, by rights, food and service SHOULD be mediocre. But this place is outstanding! Cheerful staff, great food nicely done, and a pleasant ambience make this a go-to place, when we're nearby and have a yen for Island style food.

Chips: crisp, but not oversalted or oily. FRESH Pico de Gallo.  And the shrimp mahi bowl was just perfect, as were the habañero wings and lobster quesadilla.

    Great place!

  6. OK, nothing to write home to mom about but worth the time to Yelp it. Service was fair, restaurant big and clean. Nice open kitchen and noise not bad even for a 6 o'clock visit. Now to the food, my Ceasar salad was a disappointment, way too much dressing and definitely not freshly made, I can tell by the temp on the very cold lettuce. My pulled pork platter saved the meal (barely). I don't want to leave a bad impression I personally just wasn't WOWed.  I guess because I cook this stuff at home I really expected just a little more. I mean how hard is it to make a fresh salad and pull pork on proper fashion and not in chunks. I'll return and give them a second shot someday.

  7. This is overall a pretty decent spot to get some grub!
*** I always enjoy the Conch Fritters here ***

A few days back we decided to dine here after a long day of looking for some shoes and kicks. Anywho, we've been here a couple times and I must say the day Crew does an awesome job service wise.

    Menu items to try:
    – Conch Fritters
    – All salads
    – Coconut Shrimp anything

Parking is a breeze. They have an outdoor section and I'll say it again – they actually have pretty good Conch fritters. There isn't really much for me to add here as my fellow yelpers have outlined a lot in great detail already. Enjoy folks.

  8. I came here a few weeks ago and bookmarked it so I could write about my experience.  I've never been to Bahama Breeze before but used to work at Olive Garden in college so have a little soft spot in my heart for Darden Restaurants.  I don't typically favor "island/caribbean" type food but it was half way between my friend and I so we decided to meet there.

So we go in there on a day during the week, I believe it was a Wednesday or Thursday and ask for a table for two.  when we walk in it seems like the majority of the people who work there are at the host stand laughing and talking amongst each other.  They immediately seat us in the bar area right next to a live band.  I wanted to catch up with my friend and didn't want to be screaming "WHAT?!" every second so we asked to be switched away from the music.  So then they switched us…. to the other side of the bar.  It was the exact same distance from the band as our original seats.  At that point I just said whatever and accepted it but I was kind of annoyed.  I personally think you should ask patrons beforehand if they want to sit in the bar, especially with live music playing.  Plus, when someone asks to be moved from the bar/music, don't put them on the other side of the bar.  It really seemed like our host didn't care at all.

Service from our waitress and food were fine- nothing exceptional.  I ordered the jerk grilled chicken and my friend had the wood grilled chicken breast.  You can't really go wrong with either of those items so they were decent.

Another thing that rubbed me the wrong way is while we were sitting in the bar, not drinking, a promo girl for some alcohol company was going around asking if we wanted free shots.  Normally, if I was in an actual bar drinking, and not in a restaurant, I would have loved that.   But it was during the week and we didn't really even want to be in that area in the first place.  I just felt like the whole experience really lowered my opinion of Darden Restaurants.  Instead of working on making the place nicer, and bring in a better clientele + more business,  they are really lowering their standards and peoples expectations of the place.   I gave it two stars because the food was decent and our waitress was sweet, but I wouldn't go back there.
