I come here for lunch and I have never been dissapointed by their food, but they forgot our order once. That was dissapointing.
    They have reasonable lunch speacial.

Good, not great, but the red curry is VERY spicy, which is really nice. I always used to walk by this place and it was sort of drab looking, but they recently renovated it to a much nicer appearance. It's bright and charming with a warm wood-paneled dining room with nice lighting and that makes it pretty attractive in itself.

I went with a few other people and we ordered a few appetizers, all of which were pretty good and standard for that matter. Everything came out well-prepared and with a cute degree of presentation. When it came to the entree, I was very pleased. I ordered Red Curry Beef and it was super flavorful, served in a generous portion and spicy as it should be. I'd say that would be an excellent choice if you can handle spicy foods. The Pad Thai was also excellent and not greasy, which can be hard to find at Thai restaurants.

The service was very friendly and fast (although this was helped by the fact that there was virtually no one else in there on a Saturday evening), and overall, I'd say for the price level, location and quality of food, this is a great choice if you're in East Midtown and looking for some Thai food.

Nice Tom Kha Gai.  Decent options. Decent prices.  A tad slow on the delivery.  But still not too shabby.  An ok option.  There are better in the area and throughout nyc.  But this place will do if you're close by.

I was really, really skeptical about eating here once I noticed the 2.5-star rating, but I was already in the restaurant, as I ended up here with some co-workers. But I was actually very pleasantly surprised!

First of all, the décor is pretty fun. This place has a focus not only on Thai food but on Thailand itself as well, which gives it an old school feel. We sat facing a bunch of photos of royal Thais circa 1970 or '80, which presented an interesting juxtaposition between royalty and the way people used to look in the 1970s-80s.

But enough about glasses that take up your whole face. Down to business: I thought about ordering the pad see ew, my go-to Thai dish (spelled pad se-el here; I've never see that transliteration before), but noticed something called the Bangkok pad se-el. The description was "spaghetti sautéed with shrimps and special sauce". That sounded good, like maybe pad see ew made with spaghetti, so I ordered it, but I was informed that the sauce is actually quite different – and spicy. Spicy is always a gamble, but I decided to go ahead and try it. It was pretty spicy for me, right on the border of makes your lips numb and too hot to eat. Yet, it was delicious. The sauce had a nice flavor to it underneath the spiciness, and the shrimp at least tasted fresh. I had to order a diet coke to cut the spice, which definitely helped… unfortunately, there were no free refills. My colleagues ordered the chicken pad thai, the actual pad see ew, and the chicken fried rice. They all seemed to enjoy their meals.

Whatever problems people have with this place…at least from this initial visit, I do not share those concerns.

Probably the worst Thai restaurant in New York!
This place is at prime location near my work, thats the reason why my colleagues and I sometimes go here if we crave Thai food since there aren't many other Thai restaurants in the vicinity. However, the food is terrible. Moreover, their shrimps sometimes are not fresh at all, I had a horrifying experience of having seafood at their place and suffering from stomach all afternoon at work.
The service is horrible too, some of my colleagues told me that the owner of the place is extremely rude when it comes to dealing with customer complaints. The owner even used some racist remarks.
If I were you, I would stay away from this place and spend my money at a better Thai restaurant in lower east side.
