Late night drinks with the crowd….was really not what I expected. great wait staff and nice attitude but the evening we were there, although we had fun, various tables were filled with people who could not hold their liquor and were throwing up all over the place…including at the tables and in the bathroom area. What a mess.
Great sports bar in Murray Hill. The wings are delicious and very cheap during happy hour. Taylor is my favorite bartender if it wasn't for her this bar wouldn't stand out as much when compared to the numerous other bars in the area. She is very friendly, attentive and makes amazing drinks.
Came here for drinks with the boyfriend and a good friend. This place was ok, dim lighting, dark furnishings, decent sized bar, TVs all around, and tables in the back. Definitely a modern NYC vibe going on inside. I noticed it attracted a lot of male patrons, apparently a college hang out although I didn't get that vibe. Many of the people inside seemed like the corporate or professional type in their 20s to 30s. Our bartender was unimpressive. Flat personality, took us a while to get our drinks, and at times would just disappear from the bar. My boyfriend was doing 40 days of not drinking, because apparently he is a masochist…JK it was during lent, so he had a seltzer. My friend has a pomegranate martini, it was so strong that she really could not enjoy it as she drank it, which is surprising because she usually handles her liquor well. I had an amaretto sour, and it was very good. Overall, I wouldn't find this a bad place to hang out for the night if I was in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.
All our orders were incorrect. Service was very slow, so if you don't have time for a really long meal, then you may want to eat someplace else. After waiting an hour for our food, at the end of the meal, we waited 30 mins for the waitress to bring us the bill, take our credit cards and then bring them back. The food itself was just average. I had a burger and fries, which were nothing special. The patty was also overcooked.
This seems like a fun place to watch a game and get wasted with friends, but I wouldn't eat here again. If you do eat here, it might be best to ask for the check as soon as you get your food, because you don't know when the waitress will be getting back to you.
There's only one reason why my friend and I decided to come here after work on a Tue: happy hour that lasts til 10pm nightly! Most bars in the area end happy hour around 7-8pm. Thanks to Yelp, I stumbled across this anomaly, and knew we had to come here.
With a happy hour ending at 10pm and name like "Bar 515," I was expecting a low-key pub-like atmosphere with dart boards and pool tables. Boy, was I off. The space was actually quite modern and sexy, with 2 separate bars. They also have tables and booths, if you don't feel like sitting at the bar.
They have a different drink special every night of the week (Tue night is the apple martini–yum) along with the nightly $4 beer, $5 sangria, $6 well drink, and others. Their food menu has your standard bar fried foods, with some healthier options like sandwiches and hummus with vegetables. Prices are very reasonable. 2 HH apple martinis, 2 HH sangrias, 1 appetizer combo (nachos, mozzarella sticks, Buffalo wings), and hummus with vegetable and flatbread cost $50 before tip.
Average bar, very spacious. However, when we sat down at a table on Thursday night, the waitress never came to see us! That seemed a little odd to me! However, getting drinks from the bar was easy so it balanced itself out.
Solid spot for an affordable happy hour in Midtown. $5 drink specials every night and lots of TVs if you want to watch any sporting events. The food was affordable too, and while nothing special, the price is right. I'll be back for more happy hours!
Chicken wing are 40 cents per wing – bargain!! You can get them spicy (which aren't too spicy) or sweet. Spicy is definitely the winner. Also comes with blue cheese dipping sauce. Service the night I was there was great. There's TVs so you can watch sport and the set up us a mixture of booths and tables. Pretty dark inside though, but if you want a cheap, quick, no fuss feed then this is the place to go.
