The burgers are the best! The great variety of meat, topping and bun makes this place great. The fries are also awesome. Nice and crunchy and not greasy! They also offer a variety of sauces for both the burgers and the fries. My 13 yr old ordered a made your own beef burger and I had the fire cracker with bison instead of duck. We both had our burgers on the sprout bun, our favorite. We completed our oder with a side of sweet potatoe fries. They also offer great variety of draft and bottle beers.
Right on Bell Blvd and a block from Northern, this Bareburger franchise couldn't have picked a better location. It's about half the size of the one in Great Neck, so it gets pretty packed on the weekends during peak dinner hours but that's to be expected. They're on Seamless, so the boyfriend and I have ordered delivery a couple times from here.
They're all about using organic ingredients and free-range meat, and also offer gluten-free and vegan options. I recommend their crispy brussel sprouts as an appetizer! Their burger and sandwich game is quite strong, so you can pretty much order anything and rest assured that it will be delicious.
Matador burger is awesome except that instead of brioche bun, i asked for the new and improved sprout bun. The burger is packed with guac, queso fresco, jalapenos, pico de gallo and a huge side of onion rings and sweet potato fries.
Totally awesome lunch, not exactly cheap but you pay for quality ingredients and consistent service. Servers are very friendly!
All the burgers offered on the menu sound delicious. My husband likes the Bison. I like any burger with a fried egg! My friend ordered the boar. We all did medium rare. All were delicious. Just kinda wish they were bigger, ha ha. The brioche buns are a nice touch, compliments all the burgers well. Would totally recommend their variety of dipping sauces.
Because we ordered the small fries and rings, it doesn't come with sauce. When I asked for it, the waiter politely told me it's $0.55 / each. I didn't mind but did find it a little nervy given they didn't even offer "free" ketchup. Only the large order comes with the sauces.
Their spicy ketchup and their mustard mix sauces were great. I also liked their bbq sauce.
Besides their delicious coffee, try the rosemary limeade. I enjoyed my outing here!
First of all this location is beautiful! The decor is cute and the seating arrangements are set to the bare theme with a wood effect. Very in the woods but cute.
The staff was really nice and super helpful.
I'm personally not picky about how organic my meal is but this was and accomplishment.
I tried a Bison Burger for the first time and it was magnificent. The texture and taste were close to beef however this was leaner and had a more distinct flavor.
A good experience but not something I'd crave.
Unfortunately keep in mind also that it's an organic place so no matter how bad you want a Coke with that burger remember their soft drinks are made with raw sugar and what not.. Aka not the same 🙁
But regardless of my beverage, very good experience, beautiful ambiance and pretty good food.
Honestly, I love bareburger. There is something about delicious food, sauces for dipping fries, and a place that has multiple pickles.
I've had a variety of burgers and other food. One of my favorites would be the wiki burger, cause ya know pineapple and meat is just epic. In addition, the buffalo chicken is pretty epic.
Equally as good as the food is the service. I never have to wait too long for my food to come and the wait staff is always on top of everything, including filling water!
I kept thinking how this was going to be a terrible experience because of how the night started. Our hostesses really didn't seem to want to try at all. We told them we were a party of 7 (6 adults, 1 child), and they said they weren't sure how they were going to seat us, and it would be anywhere from 15 minutes to 40 minutes, it depends, they don't know. We asked if we could put our names down, and they acted very hesitant to do so. They said something along the lines of, I guess you can, but really, we just don't know how the seating will be for you. It was as if they didn't want our business! We asked if we could leave our number, and they can call us as soon as a table was ready, and again the hesitation! We thought it would be a good idea if we sat for tea or yogurt somewhere else while waiting for our table (it's usually a good idea to keep a 4 yr old preoccupied when possible). So when we finally left our name and number, we decided to stand around and wait anyway, because we just could not be sure they would remember us otherwise.
Once we were seated, however, service was excellent! They got all our orders right, and answered all of our questions, and everything came promptly. The food, as usual, was very good. I tried their salads for the first time and it was delicious! So the actual meal more than made up for the bizarre fuss we had to deal with prior to be seated.
Bareburger has never been an option for me, simply based off the fact that I don't eat meat. Ive never been a fan of beef and even when I did eat chicken, eating it at a burger joint never crossed my mind. In my Yelp search for new lunch spots today Bareburger popped up. I checked out the menu and they had 3 vegetarian options that sounded appetizing. I headed right over there.
I dined in and the service was fast and effecient. I was in and out within 25 minutes. The restaurant has a few booths but mostly tabletops and seating for about 24 people. The environment was warm and comfortable, reminiscent of a wood cabin. All they were missing is the fireplace. There were grizzly bear portraits hanging on the walls which added some charm and unique chandeliers over each booth that were decorated with utensils. Pretty cool! I did notice some dust hanging from one of the fixtures though which wasn't very appealing. It wasn't over my table so I didn't mind.
I ordered the farmstead burger which had a sweet potato and wild rice patty, baby kale and cauliflower hummus on a sprouted bun. I also got a side order of sweet fries. The fries were perfectly crispy and lightly salted, yummy. More than enough for me to take some home. My burger had an interesting mix of flavors, they complemented each other very well. The patty was good but fell apart some which made eating the burger a little messy. The cauliflower hummus had a slight tang, which was a nice flavor contrast to the sweetness of the patty. The meal was super filling and enjoyed. I will be back when in need of a vegan burger fix.
