  1. The food was excellent. Great friendly attentive service. Refreshing micro brew root beer, My favorite. Happy hour 3-6 $2 off beer. The burger juiced in my mouth as any delicious burger should. Meg had a chocolate milk shake with chocolate pieces in the bottom. That was great. Everything was great no complaints. Prices were decent, cheese burger was $10.

  2. Wow-yum! I only wish i had come out with four friends to try it all. I had a juicy organic burger with greens promised to be free of pesticides, just like i'd make at home only a bit more expensive. As a matter of fact if the fries weren't so pricy i would have ordered them as well. But hey i'm out and you know what? It's a good place to be. The portions are a feel-good-normal- sized portion. The clientelle is friendly and efficient, the place draws a mixed crowd and is playing an easy mix of classic and reggae. The interior is a warm wood tone and the window is open to the main street which makes it feel like a weekend somehow. Yes. Come here and relax and satisfy your burger craving. Bring your wallet. Oh, and bring your friends, even the vegans.

  3. Came here for lunch with my mom. They have a new menu. They don't have the quinoa burger on the menu but they can still make it.

Lunch special until 5pm the standard burger (beef, turkey, quinoa), salad or fries and a soda for ~$11.95. My mom ordered the lunch special with the quinoa burger. The burger with the cheese and sauce was delicious. The fries were good.

I had the farmstead burger (I didn't get it wrapped in collard greens, instead lettuce). They forgot the hummus. The burger was very good.

We also ordered the wasabi carrot slaw, it was great. Not spicy at all. Friendly staff!

  4. its not bad but honestly i still prefer shake shack (though i will NOT wait 30 min plus for it). I had a bison burger and my wife had the beef, overall its not bad but ultimately taste wise shake shack was better. But then shake shacks burger is always soggy and drenched in oil while the bareburgers are not. We also had onion rings, sweet fries and the regular fries. I may come back to my local location again since its near by, the wait staffs were courteous and friendly.

  5. Wow! I think I may have a new favorite burger place. I was visiting a friend in NY this past weekend, and we popped into Bareburger for a bite to eat. I really liked the artsy, laid back vibe. They have funny decorations on the walls, and they play a mix of rock and old hip hop songs.

I think what I like most about this restaurant is that you can either eat really healthy or really unhealthy here. The choice is yours. On this fine Thursday night, I ultimately went the unhealthy route (sorry not sorry). I ordered the supreme burger that included bacon, fries, onion rings, and their special sauce. It was absolutely delicious, and I would order it again in a heart beat.

My friend went the healthy route and ordered the California turkey burger on a wrap. It looked great, but definitely not as delicious and savory as my supreme burger. We also ordered the sweet potato fries to share. They were the perfect balance of sweet and salty.

Can't wait to try something else on the menu next time! So happy they have a Philly location.

  6. I was invited back to give this Bareburger location another shot after my Yelp review. Needless to say, I am not impressed. I was told to look for a co-manager at the take out section when I arrived. The first words out of the manager's mouth was: "Why did you write that review?" He then proceeded to say, "If there was anything wrong, you could've came back to Bareburger and let us know." He was not friendly at all and made it really uncomfortable to even be in the restaurant.

So here is your updated review. I will not be coming back.

  7. omg deliciousness galore over here. as I say in many reviews I'm on a burgers of long island mission and this is definitely one of the best. so good I wanna go to another bareburger just to technically go someplace new and still get this delicious burger.

I only wish the garage doors were open tonight! I was really looking forward to that lol. anyway will have to try the shakes also next time. we were going out for ice cream after so obviously didn't want to overdo it. just omg bareburger you delicious thing you. my hubs was very happy with his elk burger too btw. so happy I didn't even get a bite. also the fries here were amazing.

  8. Delicious burgers, crispy onion rings & great milkshakes, but a little pricey.

Bareburger has the cute hipster interior design on point. The food is not only aesthetically pleasing but delicious too. The parties are juicy, and it's great to be able to customize your burgers. This burger place is known for its organic food and unique variety of meat & vegan patties. We tried the bison patty (county fair burger), duck party (Fire Crackler) and beef patty (custom burger). The last was good as a beef patty could get. The bison was great but in truth it did get a little too chewy and tough mid-meal. The duck, on the other hand, was surprisingly good as a burger patty! It tastes just like duck, so don't worry about any weird taste (as some people may). Overall the burgers were juicy, tasteful & filling.

We had the onion rings, fries and caramel banana milkshake too. Onion rings–worth it! Fries were just thin fries. The milkshake was refreshing with the burger. While it had caramel, there was enough bananas to ensure that the shake wasn't too sweet.

Good burger place if you're looking for a burger place in the Great Neck neighborhood, especially since it's easy to get to without a car. However, I would say it is on the pricey side for a casual burger place. Three burgers, a side of onion rings, and two drinks came out to about $60-70 with the average amount of tip.
