  1. Straight up, this is a solid burger joint. Though fairly small inside, there are plenty of tables and booths lining the walls and the decor is of the reclaimed wood gastropub variety…well, with the addition of cow pics on the wall. I opted for bar seating bc they had some tv's, but with Nick stations on both screens, I was glued to my phone.

The service was good and soon I picked up the Socal burger ($11, turkey burger, cheddar, pickled onions, sprouts, guac) with sides of dill pickles ($3) and a baby green salad ($3.5). Pickles were good and the salad was OK, but both were pretty tiny and seem like they should come with an $11 burger. A side of fries is also $3, which again, should probably be standard with a burger purchase. Beyond my monetary whining, the Socal burger was actually really well done and will pull me back to B-Burger in the future. It's pretty rare to find a turkey burg that's cooked well, is juicy and loaded flavor. Really enjoyed this guy. So, like other reviewers, I found the final check to be a bit much, but the burger was good enough to justify future visits.

Protip: they have some solid beers at the bar and a brunch menu

  2. I want to LOVE this place. I mean I really do but I'm still just stuck at liking it mostly for the concept and creativity. I love that grassfed and organic food is starting to make a presence in the food industry. Yeah it's trendy and all but the meats are just so damn delicious compared to the standard. This location may be missing the mark slightly just on basis of menu compared to some other Bareburger locations but whatever still creative. My main gripe is food quantity for price. I personally don't think a burger (beef) should be $10 without a side and I certainly don't think it should be a small burger. Yeah if you're getting fancy and getting elk or duck sure I understand the dollar amount. I've also come here and had the salad which was super tiny for the $13 it was. The food is good, bordering on great, it's just a $20 meal (without drink) for myself that's a burger? It's pretty much stupidity. Whatever I'm still going to be coming here as it is very yummy. But when O'hara's (not grassfed organic burgers) is right around the corner and is food for 2 days ahhhh the struggle is so real!!

  3. Great burgers/horrible prices.

I guess it's the area, Port Washington that mandates these kind of prices.

As good as the burgers are, I do feel they are a bit too small for the price. Expect to walk out paying $16-$22 a person if you get fries and a drink on the side.

The wiki wiki is awesome though.. that pineapple relish.. mmmmmmm.
