Located in a Days Inn hotel, Barnett Catering is not only for catering but also a restaurant that serves pretty delicious bar food and entrees.
We came here on a Saturday night and tried their recommended signature coffee rub ribs ($8) with a side of buffalo wings and seasoned fries ($6). Everything was really tasty and I especially enjoyed the sweet BBQ flavor from the baby back ribs with a hint of coffee rub flavoring in the background. For me, this was very different and unique in comparison to the many ribs I've tried in NY. Best of all, my ribs were very tender and I liked how it literally fell off the bone!
As for the wings and seasoned fries it was also very tasty too. The wings were moist and tender while the season fries had a nice crunch.
The atmosphere is chilled and you would never imagine it being located in a hotel. It has a club like vibe with a full bar and TV for sports. Their service is also very friendly and they seem knowledgeable and passionate about the food that they serve.
I will definitely come back here the next time when I'm around the area and I think this new restaurant is a great dining addition for people who live nearby to enjoy good food at a very affordable price!
