Woo-wee, haven't been here in a while, and it was obviously clear to me that changes took place, which was in a good way!
This location is part of the Garwood Plaza, and the ice cream is on one side, and Dunkin Donuts is on the other. When we walked in, we noticed that the lights on the ceiling has changed, and they installed a new seating area that was filled with small comfortable lounge chairs with tables. Not only that, we've also noticed that they installed additional power outlets with USB PORTS. The USB PORTS were perfect for anyone who had a phone with a USB cord for charging. The power outlets were also perfect for anyone with laptops. All of that was a HUGE plus. Obviously, this area is for patrons only.
We ordered two-scoop sundaes. I picked the "Easter Egg Hunt" and "World-Class Chocolate" flavors, and my dad picked the Oreo and "Easter Egg Hunt" flavors as well. He topped his off with whipped cream and choco syrup, and I topped mine off with hot fudge sauce and whipped cream. Hey, you can never go wrong with whipped cream! 😀
"Easter Egg Hunt" – White chocolate flavored ice cream (although it appeared green from the food coloring) with mini-chocolate egg-shaped pieces. Considering I'm a huge fan of white chocolate, I had to get this flavor. The ice cream itself definitely tasted like white chocolate, but it was hard for me to tell whether the egg-shaped pieces were made of either milk or white chocolate. Either way, it was really good!
"World-Class Chocolate" – This flavor's been around for a while, and I've always liked it. Why? This ice cream consists of white chocolate and milk chocolate swirls. Now that's classy and tasty! The Oreo was simply a "cookies and cream" flavor with Oreo pieces. It was good, but nothing more to say about that flavor.
The employees here were fine as always, and parking was never an issue. Overall, if I ever get another craving for ice cream from this place, I'll definitely be back. I would also bring either my Ipod or phone for charging if the ports are open and available.
