Beautiful interior decor, always quick and friendly service, with a very extensive menu.
You don't get the old school diner feel when you come in here. They did a great job with their renovations a few years ago.
The service is always super friendly, and always prompt.
The menu is huge and can be overwhelming because if your hungry, you want everything!
Of all the diners in the bayside area…I recommend checking this one out for sure!
I was an overall fan. Service was quiet and prices and were a bit much but bayside is such a nice area. Loved that this place has parking. I always look for that. Good food nothing knocking my socks off but solid diner fare. Cool recycled glass counter area too.
Came here with a few friends for brunch after our zumba class. I was very pleased with the service. The brunch menu is 19.95. You get a small fruit salad, choice of beverage, choice of brunch beverage (mimosa, bloody mary etc) and main dish. I got the eggs benedict but changed it since im vegetarian. I had tomato and avocado instead of the canadian bacon. It was delicious. Great food and service.
Decent diner in the Bayside area. I usually just go for the simple order of eggs, bacon and well done home fries. Their corned beef hash is good as well. Regarding cleanliness, they can be better with the silverware…
Not amazing, but not bad either. I think the reason why I keep coming back here is because of its large space (so it's great for big crowds), pretty good service and convenience.
My parents like to come here for large family gatherings when there's a holiday. That's one that I can applause about bayside diner – they are open during holidays. I remember coming here last year on Christmas Eve and this year, I came during thanksgiving.
The waiters are great about getting you coffee, water and all your food. They're quick, efficient and there are so many of them that it works out. If you request something like extra crispy fries, which I did, they remember and come back to check in on you. The food may not be amazing, but the service is great that I always come back.
If you were to get anything, I'd say the breakfast menu is probably the best. You can't go wrong with some eggs and waffles.
My experience is based on a breakfast meeting with a group of 80 people. The group was seated in the room to the left when you enter the diner. This is my first time here so not sure if they are used to large groups but the food took forever to come and many orders were not right. Orders were taken between 9 and 9:30. The table I sat at was the last one to get our food and it was about 10:45! I ordered french toast with sausage and waiting so long you would figure I would love whatever came but sadly not. The French Toast and the sausage was completely tasteless!! The syrup was tasteless and had a elastic consistency. On my way out valet boxed my car in! I arrived before valet was open. I had to drive off the sidewalk to get out! Needless to say I will not be back.
Clean, more of a modern styling.
Pretty good burgers and accommodating on the low carb side of things.
Definitely beats Jackson Hole from my latest experience there.
Good coleslaw and pickles.
Will update when I try more. 🙂
Stopped in Bayside Diner this morning for breakfast. It's my first time here. I ordered two breakfast platters. Bacon, sausage, eggs, hash browns, ham, grits, and a side of white toast. For $11-12 dollars, it's pretty expensive for this little portion of food. Bacon was hard as a rock. Nothing tasted hot off the griddle. Only the grits was good. The service was okay. I found everything to be very disappointing to say the least. For $30 including tip, I expected a better and fuller breakfast meal.
Verdict – I still dislike every diner in this city. Nothing beats diners in the suburbs. I was hoping Bayside Diner to be more enjoyable. It always looks so busy because their parking lot always looks so full but when we dined in, the diner was really empty.
