  1. 4.5 stars… But so many factors make this 5!

Hole in the wall. I love it. I am so happy my friend introduced me to this place!! It was an extremely worth it meal. They offer standard american fair to full blown ethnic food.

Firstly the atmosphere since its a bit different. It's not quite cafeteria style. You order your food, and pick a numbered table to sit at, they bring you the food. They clean up after you since they give you real bowls. Some of the food is already prepared and displayed. You pay after you eat.

Drinks and sauces in fridge to the right. I like the green sauce, it's like a avocado creamy herbal sauce..

I had a bite of the zinger burger. To non-brown people… This is like a delicious ass buffalo chicken burger, with white sauce. It's very different and so worth a try if you're not too crazy about venturing full blown brown pple food. It's a big slab of chicken too, so very filling!

I had the chicken makhni and chickpeas. You can do half size portions instead of a full size of a protein (~$9) I love, LOVE. LOVEEED the chicken makhni. It's like chicken tikka masalla except not as spicy, nor sour (tomatoey). It's very rich. I was told this is "butter chicken". Yeah, well bring on the butter baby! That sauce is lick-me-up delicious.  Chickpeas was good. I had the garlic nan on the side which wasnt too fresh, kind of dry and old, but large in size and satisfactory for my meal. The asian in me wishes I got rice instead…  I was so full tho.

I just want to mention they have nice toliet paper here, lol. There is a bathroom that's pretty clean. Seating area feels very fancy! There's a parking lot but it looked very full. There's another complex w/ parking around the corner, but be careful as they do randomly tow.  I thought the cashier man was very nice! Bill was $16 prior to tax and tip, dirt cheap.  LOVE IT!

  2. Great food. The name of this place is misleading though. I came in thinking I would feast on some awesome BBQ. However, there is no BBQ here.

But there was some pretty solid American and South Asian food. And the service is impeccable. You have to go up to the counter and put in your order though. The menus remind me of any old dive.

Food came out within minutes of ordering and it looks like there are a lot of hands behind the counter, which is great.

    I ordered:

Masala fries – they are fresh and thin, the spice mix they put on it is really tasty! Great dish!
Keema Naan – fresh, oily, good taste, satisfied
Buffalo Wings – your generic wings, nothing special, they were cooked well, I thoroughly enjoyed it
Zinger burger – solid chicken sandwich with buffalo sauce?, great taste, big portion, good dish

I read comments on yelp saying the service sucked, but I didn't see any shortcomings at all other than ordering at the counter

This is why I gave this place four stars. The food was good but the staff was exceptionally accommodating. If I was ever in the area, I would definitely come back here.

  3. Not a halal expert, but I frequent the carts ever so often in the dead of night after a few tequila shots.

BBQ Nite delivers in many aspects. I had to try their zinger burger & I must say, it surprised me. The presentation was lacking and I had low expectations for a place that cuts my burger in half for me, but it was pretty good. And filling.

Their Marsala (seasoned) fries weren't much to rave about though.

Service was slow/confusing unfortunately. I asked if I just sit anywhere & the cashier told me sure. I sat at a table for 10 minutes at 3 in the afternoon before getting back up & ordering at the front.

Their location (right next to walgreens) is good; however their parking lot is about the size of an average Long Islander's driveway. Possibly smaller.

Overall, I'd come back and try other items on the menu. The staff was nice enough to warrant return business. Just might take my food To-Go from now on

  4. Amazing food, consistent food here and their Long Island location-good to see that in a desi chain! Zinger burger is absolutely amazing, double cheeseburger was delicious as well with two types of cheese melted throughout, masala fries were the best (smaller serving size than in Hicksville) will have to try some desi food next time perhaps. Malai qulfi was

  5. Very interesting Chicken and Rice $7. It's not spicy, but it has many spices and they add a lot of caramelized onions and green peppers. I ask them to take out the onions and peppers but I'm still not a fan of it per say, it is very flavorful though.

They have some ok masala fries. Not worth extra price from reg fries.

Many specials such as biryani and curries are lined by the front.

Zinger Burger ($7) is ok. HUGE PORTION. Crisp white chicken that's very juicy but commonplace lettuce, tomato and overly indulgent ketchup-mayo made it one-note and a little boring. I don't think this is worth $7.

Keema Naan – really good, justifies the $3 price tags

Lot of space. Plenty of tables. My one gripe is that they mostly do take-out orders. So if you do come here and order even the smallest thing, it might take up to 15min.
