I had tried, and loved, each smoothie bar in the area…or so I thought. When I spotted Be Juice on its cozy, quiet corner, I was excited for the prospect to test out another such spot. I ordered the Early Date, as did most of the others on the line with me at the tiny request window. Despite being packed with banana, there was no texture to this drink; it was just plain runny. The smoothie also included dates, almond milk, and vanilla syrup/extract, which I found took away from the healthiness factor of it all. I did appreciate that I was able to add in a vegan version of protein though.
Now to the taste…horrible! The bananas were unripe and overpowered each sip with a hideously pungent flavor. Halfway through the large cup (despite ordering a small, I received a large), I actually gave up and tossed the repulsive drink – something typically unheard of for me. Needless to say, I would not recommend Be Juice, especially with so many other great smoothie and juice options in the area (Liquiteria, Juice Press, etc.).
Great location and very quick.
I had a tasty blueberry, banana, kale, ginger, spinach smoothie with almond milk. I loved it, but I don't really like how they put ice in the smoothie. I'd rather have frozen fruits.
Other than that, the texture was great, not to watery and very fruity. It was great to have right after my yoga class at Yoga to the People.
Love the juice,

12oz is $6.99 and 24oz is $7.99. The 23oz is the best smoothie deal you will find ANYWHERE. My favorite one is Candy Mode but they are all very good. You can also create your own, and this applied to juice too.
Love how convenient, wish it wasn't so slow and pricey…
I love juice and smoothies so I was excited to try this place. It's a cute little juice bar window where you order right from the street. A wide selection of both juices and smoothies, which all the drink options looked very yummy and unique.
The downside was that when I got there, there was a line of customers. I'm usually a very patient person when it comes to lines (it's New York, you have to), but this was just a little ridiculous. There were four people in front of me, and only one employee making the juice. It took almost 6 minutes to make one single juice for the person in the front of the line. Now, I don't know if this person had ordered like 10 drinks or something, but it was just getting to be a little annoying.
I wish I had a better experience at this place because the concept is really great. I do agree that it wasn't really worth the wait, especially with several smoothie places with basically the same stuff near by. Instead, try coming here on a less busier time…ideally with no line.
Save yourself the money and the time as there are two Liquiterias nearby. Pretty sure one of them is within tennis ball throwing distance and the other one is probably more like golf ball throwing distance but definitely worth the trip as they're the same price but much better!
