Really mediocre dining experience. The food was ok, but not great. It seemed to attract a lot of tourists.
I've been here twice so far and it is one of the best Indian restaurants around. I've tried the chicken tikka & the lamb vindaloo both were really good.
The place itself is inviting & spacious. The servers were pleasant and knowledgable, the servers can explain the spice levels and put in requests for spice levels.
Tip: ask for the jalapeño peppers on the side of you want it extra spicy
It wasn't bad; it wasn't amazing, but they have a lunch buffet for $12.95…the line included pankora, samosas, lamb curry, chicken tikka, chicken tikka masala, paneer…other things and two desserts. Naan was brought to the table. Service was good…they cleared our plates when we were done.
I liked the chicken tikka masala and the paneer was pretty good. Good samosa.
TLDR: great deal if you're looking for Indian lunch buffet. (this review isn't that long)
Table for 1
Decided to try something new since I was famished. The ambiance is definitely business. It is a beautiful romantic type restaurant . The wait staff & manager was very attentive.
I love Indian food and this place is great. Good food good atmosphere.
I came here for the lunch buffet which is a bit pricey.
So, lunch buffet with bottomless water (you will need it) = $14.10
Probably the best Indian lunch buffet I've ever had. Seated instantly. Service was spot on. Water always remained refilled, even after we had paid and were just lounging our water was refilled. Hot and fresh garlic naan brought out to the table. Shrimp, lamb, chicken, all the classic favorites were there. Very good. Prices very reasonable. Would go again.
We ordered pick up from here. I ordered the chicken tikka masala it was 14$ for rice, naan and an appetizer a really great deal if you are in the need for lots of food. The staff was really nice offering us some water even though we were just picking up, this will be a go to Indian place in a pinch.
A co-worker took me for lunch here recently and it was a buffet! Who doesn't love a good $12.95 buffet? And it was goooood. We went around 12 so everything was fresh and stocked as they start serving lunch at 11:30am. The variety included Tandoori Chicken, Paneer Tikka, Goat Curry, amongst many other dishes.
So here comes the not so good part. Considering the buffet was good I decided to order their Lamb Curry platter, which disappointed. The spice level was unbearable to the point I couldn't eat it. The veggie of the day was broccoli and some other veggie "fake curried" to make it seem like an Indian dish (I would know). Honestly, I'm guessing their dine in experience is better than delivery so I'll stick to that. I'll be going back to try their Seafood dishes as they sound unique.
I've been here twice and always loved the food. I had the buffet the last time I went and it's a good value for your money. They have good veg and non-veg options. Everything I had was delicious. I didn't have any rice, naan or dessert though so I can't give it 5 stars since I didn't try everything there. I want to go back on a cheat day and try all that stuff too though and then I'll update this review 😉 But the service is great and they even gave us tandoori chicken for free! Pretty sweet deal.
