So I was thinking, how good can bagels be!?!? I went to Bergen Boulevard Bagels b//c my friend told me about these amazing bagels, how the inside is soft but the outside is crispy! When I got my Special bagels (looked like Everything bagles) with Strawberry cream cheese, I was wowed by it! It was exactly like how my friend described the crispy! bagels! Now I know what I meant by the best bagels. I am someone who's obsessed w/ bread and I know my bread. This bagel was better than all other Everything bagels cuz the slight hint of salt on top balanced outu the plainness and again, it was soft and crispy. The strawberry cream cheese was so fresh perfectly sweet that's not to the extreme. It's so cheep too. I heard it's even better when they first bake em when they open. That's my next goal when I visit NJ- to get them that early 🙂
The bagels are a decent size and are okay. They were pretty skimpy with the eggs on my egg & cheese and the cheese was barely cooked with it. I might as well as have gotten a plain bagel. My friend didn't like his bacon, egg, and cheese either. The service was extremely slow considering it was 12:30 in the afternoon on a Sunday, and we were the only customers. They're getting 2 stars for getting my coffee right.
I have no complaints about this place. I have been coming here for years and always have found it to be really great place to grab a nice breakfast sandwich. And especially if your hungover, this place is pretty out of this world amazing. Lines move very fast (this place can get very packed), and the cashier is very nice. I wouldn't go as far as saying they have the best Bagels in the area, but definitely are on then top 5 list which is good enough for me! This places is also great for locals in the area, it is very easy to get to.
the prices are all reasonable so if you havnt been here before I think it's about time you give it a try!
I'm an absolute feign for bagels. I've tried bagels from pretty much every place in the area and this place has easily the best bagels in the area. I mean, it's not even close. Cash only though and not a lot of parking.
I've been getting breakfast here at least 3 times a week for the past 5 years. Hollaaaa.
Always friendly, quick & yummy! Would be 5 stars if they didn't regularly hike up the prices 🙁 Come here for the bagels, obvs. I would eat their onion bagel with lox & cream cheese every day of my life but then I'd be a whale.
I suggest getting here before 10am bc their bagels tend to run out. Don't come looking to add cucumbers & avocados in your sammiches either. This is a no frills spot.
One of the best bagels I've had! The bagel can be a little tough on some bites but overall a cheap and nice place. The workers can be a little nicer though

I rarely eat bagels and I have not had a taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich in about two years. I was living on the wild side and decided to order one while I was here and I am glad I did.
The everything bagel was fresh and quite large and had a nice crispy crust on it. Great tasting sandwich on a great tasting bagel. Definitely glad I tried the sandwich here. Definitely a good spot if you are in the area.
My absolute favorite bagel shop!!!!!!! Best fresh bagels! The staff is awesome…usually it is different people but everyone who seems to work there is always on point and quick. Their bagels are soft with the perfect chewiness, oh man! Breakfast sandwiches such as bacon egg n cheese or sausage egg n cheese also delicious. A reminder : Cash only! so make sure you bring cash, they do not take cards. If it gets packed don't worry they are quick , it is so worth the very small wait.
Tip: their parking lot is super small, fits max of about 6 cars….but you may be able to find parking on the street nearby if the lot is full.
