  1. The best thing about this place is you get to choose what to put on your plate. At $9/lb, the the food is pricier than similar places in downtown Manhattan but hey it's an airport and we all know food generally is overpriced and sucks balls at these establishments. So grab something you like, keep calm and eat.

  2. Terrible coffee! and it costs over $3 for a small cup
They charge you even before the food gets there.
Customer service is good though. They were attentive when I mentioned that I only have 30 mins until my boarding and my food came quickly. I was pretty starved and I entirely enjoyed my Eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon and potatoes.

  3. Stopped in while waiting for a delayed flight (along with the rest of the country) and STARVING. I had a glass of wine, french fries and the tuna tower. My friend had the vegetable soup.

My friend loved her soup! I, however, was a bit disappointed with my food. The french fries did not look like the picture…at all. They were bland and not very good. My tuna was missing the wonton garnishments (they were out). My wine came out quite quickly.

Now that being said, I have NEVER in all my travels, seen La Guardia so incredibly busy. My service was outstanding. I tend to drink my water pretty fast when traveling (I get dehydrated quickly) and it was refilled in no time. The waitress/assistant (everything is ordered via iPad) was incredibly helpful. I never told her how disappointed I was with my food, especially $8 for the mediocre french fries, but she immediately grabbed a manager. The manager was friendly, quick to help and immediately offered to refund my fries.

C for food, A+ for service!!!!

  4. I was browsing through LGA and then I stopped in my tracks…for a gelato case. Whaat? I just ate an entire pizza at Crust, but I got room for gelato. Lots of chocolate choices, but I didn't see the price listed on their menu.

I took a chance anyway and got their almond gelato. It was weird… like it had a sour taste to it. My first thought: "Has the gelato gone bad?" Wait, does gelato go bad? I kept eating it though because well, it wasn't too sweet which is what I worry about with most ice creams and desserts. Well, I finished it, and I wasn't running for a bathroom, so I guess it was ok. I probably wouldn't get it again, but hey, props to the LGA airport for having cold treats in terminal C.

  5. Food is excellent but ordering with the iPad loaded with a convoluted and counter-intuitive navigation app was both time-consuming and frustrating. Finding a staff member to help was tantamount to an Easter egg hunt. And while I always enjoy searching for 'Waldo,' I seldom enjoy it when I'm on a time constraint. I had a half-hour to kill between ordering, eating and boarding my flight. This wasn't enough. Finally I had to request my food to go when I alas found a waitress. She nevertheless brought the food to my table plated. I again repeated that I wanted to the food to do. Fortunately she listened the second time around. How I wish I could have revoked the pre-paid tip…

  6. The reviews were really bad so I was hesitant. Overall, it's an airport restaurant so the bar is set low. However, I will say two positive things 1) the waitress was nice and attentive (she helped me with the iPad). To be fair, the place was pretty empty and it was 11am. 2) It's a good place to get way from the terminal, work, read stuff on the iPad, and just get out of the crush of the crowds. The food was, again, airport restaurant food. The salad was drenched in dressing. The sandwich was fine – fries were a little old. The menu has a good range of options (limited for vegetarians). If you are looking for an alternative to eating a pre-packaged sandwich at the gate, this works just fine (warning – it's not cheap).

  7. Had a couple of tequila sunrises! No fuzz no buzz at. $30 bill with gratuity included. Glad I'm flying first class!

  8. The ratatouille and roasted mushrooms tasted microwaved……the service was not bad at all. I would skip out on the food on my next visit.
