I love the Blaze chain, and this place is no exception. They're pretty much all laid out the same, and you get the same great food and service.
I'll give a rundown in case you're not familiarized.
For $8.95 (I think), create your own personal pizza from the variety of tomato, pesto and cream sauces, then add cheese, meats and veggies from the roughly 20-30 options.
This time I went with half pesto, half spicy tomato. Topped with shredded mozz, ricotta, turkey meatballs, bacon, salami, artichoke, kalamata olives, garlic and jalapeno. That should give you an idea of what you can choose from.
The pizza is a crunchy and thin, but is perfectly capable of holding all the toppings. It's ready in 3 minutes and served with a smile.
Drinks have free refills, and one of the options is blood orange lemonade. I always take this option then mellow it down with some soda water.
If you haven't been here, then I highly suggest going to any of their locations. If you've already been to Blaze, then I'm sure you're already planning your next visit.
Waited in line 30 min and then proceeded to build my own pizza. the wait was very long for a fast food place where you stand while waiting and I would much rather eat seated and be waited on if I have to wait 30 minutes for my food! Despite this the pizza was surprisingly very good and tasty all for a very reasonable price! Will be back when next in area, hopefully they speed up the wait time or something on our next trip.
First time here and we will def be back !!
5 stars because its a great creative way to make a pizza!
You get to pick from tons of fresh ingredients from meats to cheeses to veggies and sauces. I personally loved the spicy tomato sauce and ricotta with mixed meats.
They're not gonna win awards for best pizza BUT considering the price and topping selections and how fast its made (fresh when you order ) you really cant go wrong.
The kids (6yr and 5yr) loved it and one pie was more than enough for them, they didnt finish it. They were so excited to pick their own toppings and watch the worker make it infront of them .
One simple pie and one custom pie plus 2 chocolate milks and one bottle of water = $20 #winning
Whatta great idea , your kids and yourself will love this place so go check them out ASAP. Thanks to everyone who told me to try Blaze Pizza
Whoever thought of this place is a genius. You literally walk in and can build your own personal pie for around $8. You choose everything from the sauce, cheese, to the various other toppings they offer. The pizza also is thin, and crunchy just the way I like it. I was excited to try this place when it first opened, and I have now become a regular. There is also a ton of seating, and the vibes are always good there. It's a great place for families, friends, or even for a first date. The staff is also friendly, and they appear to actually enjoy working there lol.
Chipotle for pizza!! I always load on my meat to get the most bang for my buck since it's a flat price for a build your own. They have a gluten free crust option as well. I love how they make the pizza in front of you so you can ask for more if they decide to skimp on one ingredient. The variety of ingredients is good and the pizza is made super fast. The price is decent too. It's about $8 for a build your own and there is no limit to how many toppings you can have. Each pizza pie is a personal pie.
My only gripe is that you usually walk out of there with black crumbs on your fingers. I guess whatever flour they use gets burned in the oven so the bottom of your crust picks up those black burned pieces of flour. It doesn't taste burned in any way but is just not too pleasant to look at.
I definitely will come back for a quick, affordable, and delicious lunch!!
I've been here 2x now. The concept is similar to Chipotle, but replace the tacos and burritos with pizza. For under $10, you can get a personal pizza with as many toppings as your little heart desires. There's an assortment of sauces, cheeses, meats, and veggies to choose from. They don't skimp on toppings. I've been going with the spicy red sauce.. it definitely has a nice kick to it. Of the meats, my favorite so far is the Italian sausage. Just keep in mind that it is a thinner crust pizza and won't be as easy to pick up when its weighed down with toppings.. but that hasn't stopped me yet.
Great "fast food" style pizza. Cheap and convenient and as healthy (or unhealthy) as you would like. I did the half spicy and half regular sauce- still quite a kick! Great fresh toppings, a friendly atmosphere, delicious pizza and reasonable prices! What else do you need?
Much better than I expected from a fast-food, chain pizza place! My first visit was only because they sent me a free coupon–the second was because it was good, fast and cheap.
The $5 plain pie is a bargain and so is the $7.65 pick any and all ingredients pie.
The veggies were fresh and the dough tasty.
Nice staff.
How do they cook it in 3 1/2 minutes?
