  1. I decided to try this new place after I drove past it last night craving something different. Burgers and fries always seem to please.

The place is new so everything is bright and clean on the inside. The staff was friendly and eager to help.  I decided to get a bacon classic with a side order of waffle fries to go.  I ordered my burger medium rare with lettuce and onions with the accompanied cole slaw and pickle.  After a 10 minute ride home I dug in. I cut the burger in half and saw the nice pink center. It was slightly more towards the medium side but that's to be expected as it sits in the container steaming away while you bring it home.  The toppings added a lot to the burger but the burger itself need a little more seasoning. And by seasoning I mean salt and pepper. A little bit more will go a long way since they grill their burgers, which is great, but it lacks the infused flavor a flat top brings.  Also since they grill it the burger is leaking juices all over the place so it turned the bottom bun, which was nice and fresh, soggy. If they let the burger sit for a min or two after its done cooking I think it would go a long way. The waffle fries were cooked well and still fairy crispy when I got them home.  Lastly the cole slaw which I was told was house made was really good.

They offer a variety of burgers and chicken and I think they have a great shot of being here for a long time with a few minor tweaks.  As they are now I'd say they are more a 3.5 star joint. They've only been open for 2 months so if they listen to feedback and make some minor changes here and there, they'll get even better.

Oh and they have BEER ON TAP!!!  $3.49 for import and $2.79 for domestic 16oz glasses. That's a half a star right there!

  2. Driving by this place everyday twice a day while going to and from work I kept telling myself that I had to give it a chance. Today my wife and I decided it was a good day for burgers. We got there and it wasn't busy so we were able to get seats and get ready to order quickly. It was a little chilly, but yesterday it was 75+ and today its under 55 so it could be the reason behind the heat issues.

We smelled good smelling pizza and chicken, but we decided that we wanted burgers.

I wanted to try a slice of the pizza that from some below reviews say is good, but its only sold by the pie.

My wife had the classic bacon she liked it and I stole some and concur. To be honest the burger itself isn't anything special, but its good. I would equate it to a Five Guys burger.

I had the Superman. A burger with waffle fries, grilled onions, melted provolone w/ ranch sauce. I think it was really good.

The burgers are worth a trip back and I will probably try another specialty burger.

They give ample amounts of fries as part of the combo and the sodas a free refills.

Another customer came in and had an intricate order and we heard them going above and beyond to accommodate him. It was nice to hear.

We have since ordered take out and it was good. I usually don't like take out burgers and fries, but this was good.

We tried the pizza and wings today. Pretty good. Good prices.

  3. I've eaten here a few times & I happen to like this spot. My hubby either orders delivery, or we pick it up. I've tried a few different things on the menu. We always, no matter what, get the loaded sweet potato fries!! They are amazing!! Tonight I had a turkey burger. A little annoyed It came with no type of sauce, but I guess it's healthier that way. I ran to my kitchen & grabbed some ketchup.  They have a pretty interesting selection of burgers. Easy Living is so far my fave- egg over easy , smoked bacon, & melted American. A fork & knife is needed for this one, but that's fine by me! Had there $5 milkshake, pretty filling but delicious!! I will stay a true customer.  Tonight they burned our fries, so I can only give 4 stars, but hey, no place is always perfect.

  4. Very Nice wrap and burger place in Fresh Meadows/Flushing.  Have ordered delivery from the place. Their wraps are nice and big, and everything is fresh. The wraps are also not soggy by the time you get them, which is a big thing for wraps. Their fries are very good as well.

  5. Could be better, to be fair the place just opened up recently.  The service staff was extremely cordial.  The burgers were overcooked, I asked for medium and they came out well done, the bun was also dry. The cook was extremely busy with pumping out take out and in house orders.  I sat close to the kitchen and it seemed to be a little disconnect with the Sous chefs, service staff and the head chef.  The two burgers I ordered took 30 minutes.  To the head Chefs' credit, he kept his cool and composure under pressure.  He was trying to lead the troops, but they were falling behind. Give this place a little time to work out the kinks and I'm sure they will connect all the dots and give us all truly a burger that Rocks!!!
