EW. NO. WHY?
What kind of sick joke is this? Why on earth are people raving about this food? Have they been literally starved before their dining experiences here? I read the reviews and came here on a dinner date with a friend, expecting to be at least remotely satisfied. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, but I'm pretty sure I didn't go there to make new friends. I was HUNGRY.
Not sure what's going on here, but this was hands down some of the worst chicken parm and black sea bass–like why are you ruining foods that I love with your inexperience and total lack of culinary knowledge?!
Why am I paying a decent amount of money for a meal that I won't even eat half of?
Why don't you understand that your black sea bass, which you claim is "tender and flaky" is actually so painfully overdone that it's dry and disgusting?
Why aren't these boxed noodles at least cooked al dente, instead of boiled to death and stuck together on my plate?
Why don't you know how to make your own sauce instead of this tasteless tomato thing that probably came canned from Costco (no shade- I love you, bulk-shopping giant).
I guess they paid for some of those reviews- jk – or I'm convinced most of these other 46 reviewers were just in some sort of cave where they'd formerly been dining on rocks and sand, if they had the audacity to lead me here.
Didn't mean to diss Costco like that- their sauces are way better 🙂
There are a lot of really fantastic restaurants on and around Arthur Avenue. Blue stands out a little bit mostly because of the atmosphere. It's very open with a bar area that feels close to being outside. On a nice day it's a perfect spot to come in and have a few drinks and some good food.
It's probably a tiny bit on the expensive side for what it is, but the food is very good, the service is outstanding, and I've never regret eating here on a visit to Arthur Ave.
