New coffee place on Astor Place. Level Up app gives free $5 credit for first time users. I ordered a iced Chai Tea Latte with Almond milk. It was delicious. The interior is nice and cozy. There's at least 15 stools here for customers to sit on. 8 stools near the window for people watching. There's no free wifi but customers can use the free wifi from Chopt Salad next door. The staff here is friendly and nice. Definitely will come back here for more coffee.
This is not a place to do work! Even if there is free wifi from Chopt next door. There are no private areas, only long tables with stools. I felt a little awkward sitting next to two girls who were on a coffee catchup date because I could hear their entire conversation.
The coffee and food are great no doubt, but bear in mind you'll be eating avocado smash out of a box.
The decor is beautiful – like the many other bluestone lanes in the city – and the place is filled with light. I would recommend this place for a grab and go coffee or a coffee chat, but it doesn't give the warm invitation of a sit down cafe.
Aussie iced latte – the perfect summer treat! Giant scoop of vanilla ice cream, a cup of whole fat milk, and a shot of espresso – something so simple yet so delicious! Definitely prefer this over adffogato which I found it way too bitter.. And the ice cream didn't melt as fast since the scorching hot espresso was not directly poured over. Going to make this my weekly summer treat!
Great interior, good food, and good coffee. Their avocado toast is good but my personal preference is the avocado toast from Chalait. I ordered a capp as well and was pretty good but nothing spectacular. I think it's probably because I've been in Seattle for over a year now and I think there's no better coffee than Seattle coffee. But I'm definitely a fan and I wouldn't be surprised if they opened up a Bluestone Lane in Seattle because the vibe is definitely similar to Seattle cafes.
Overall, go and check it out if you're curious!
