I am a macaron fan. I have had macarons in Paris, London, and New York. I don't have them often, because they are a little pricy. I thought Bo & Bon macarons were wonderful. I am sure they aren't as fancy as one you would get in Paris, but to be honest I couldn't tell the difference. Perhaps I am not a connoisseur, but it fed my craving, and i plan on returning.
The macarons are larger, i would say 2"x2" and were $1.5.
Bo&bon is in Borough Park which is a Hassidic Jewish neighborhood, and the owner of Bo&Bon is hassidic.
If you like macarons and don't feeling like shelling out Park Slope/Manhattan prices, Bo & Bon is a good alternative.
