  1. This place is painfully slow. One time I went I had to wait like 30 mins but it was busy so I was forgiving. Today I was second and still took 15 mins to get a bagel. If you are in a rush avoid this place! There are many other bagel shops around so save yourself some time.

  2. This place does such killer business that a bad review isn't going to matter much I'm sure.  But I do have two minor issues:

    – If you're going to open up at 5am what's the point if you don't have any bagels in the bins yet?  "Come back in a little bit" doesn't stop my belly from grumbling.

    – "Salt, pepper, ketchup" – the standard question after you order Taylor ham.  Does anyone need (or notice) even more salt on something as sodium-drenched as (delicious) Taylor ham?!

Otherwise: a cool place that's clean and has a good selection of goodies.  (Just don't show up too early.)

  3. I waited way too long to get coffee today. I was meaning to go earlier than 2:30, but I was trying to kill 2 birds with 1 stone by running an errand for work at the same time. Finally I go and the office I had to go to is closed, so now I have to go back in an hour anyway. Great. Off to food and coffee.

Ordered 2 wraps to go. The food is pretty decent. They use good ingredients so I tend to pick this place over fast food. I never love my lunch, but it gets the job done. Today in particular, I got a wrap, unwrapped the tin foil, and started munchin away. The wrap was double wrapped – aluminum and then paper (technically triple wrapped if you count the actual wrap itself). Yeeeah.. the paper blended in with the color of my wrap so I ate it…. yeah you heard that right…like at least a quarter of it… This was pre-coffee mind you. Then my next bite (non-wrapper) somehow managed to squirt sauce up into my sleeve. wth…

I start guzzling coffee to jump-start my brain. The iced coffee is bangin!! Might have to pass up Dunkin from now on..(ahhh sacrilege). The only thing is that there is often a long line, and if there's not, it still takes kind of a long time to get food.. granted it's not fast food, but still.

I need to try their breakfast. I bet it's good. All their muffins, cookies, and brownies look delish too. I'll have to come back in the morning to avoid my brain malfunctioning.

  4. I've been living in lyndhurst now for about 6 months… I decided to try this place out because I love bagels. When i walked in I thought wow this place must be so good, it was super packed. I ordered…I waited for about 25 mins or so for my bagel *shrugs* just to be kind of disappointed. I've had way better bagels. I would never wait that long again for this less than average bagel. The bagel didn't seem to fresh and I went early like 8 a.m. early. I have no tried anything else from here but I was told by a local their sandwiches are not that great.

  5. Coffee sucks.  Bagels great.  Cream cheese choices limited and so so.
