This restaurant is part of a group of open air places that inhabitant a side street next to Kmart. Bolos has an interesting mix of various arepeas. I cannot say if they are authentic because I do not believe that I have consumed an authentic Venezuelan arepa before. I had the arepa de camarron, which was pretty delicious. However, it was loaded with quite a bit of the cream sauce and the shrimp were of the frozen sort but the arepa itself was pretty delicious. I was not expecting to be blown away but the food hit the spot, especially for the price. Plus, I hear that the sangria is pretty delicious too.
So, if you on 34th street near MSG then give this place a try.
