10/10 would do it again. Bangin crepes. I got a custom crepe with nutella, banana and vanilla ice cream. I thought the ice cream would be on top but it was kind of folded into the crepe so I had to eat it quickly before the ice cream melted. Mission was not really accomplished but it was so delish that I have to give this place 5 stars. They also have a nice selection of wine at reasonable prices. The environment is super cute. Take someone here for a first date and you may just score a second one. They're also open for late-night munchies. Basically not #basic at all. Just do it.
Cute place. Perfect cafe for studying and sipping vino.
Crepes need more fllling! Got a Nutella and banana crepe and the lack of Nutella erked me… like…. PUT MORE NUTELLA IN MY CREPE! I want it seeping hazelnut chocolately goodness!
Service is an alright, employees seemed like they were dreading being there.
This place is definitely a great late night concept. Enjoy wine and a sweet dessert in a cafe style setting. I went here a few weeks back with my girlfriend a few friends. Everything here was very reasonably priced and really delicious. They had a water jug that was easily accessible to all patrons as well which is nice. I ordered a peanut butter Nutella and banana crepe. This thing is massive! I mean, I could only eat half of it before calling it quits.
One thing that did bug me is the heat. This place must have been over 100 degrees. I was burning, they need AC badly. Also, the way the orders come Out is interesting. Half of our table got their orders… Then everyone else in the cafe did before the remaining two customers at our table got theirs…. Mind you they ordered before everyone.
If you're feening for some crepes and around the neighborhood, pop in! I wouldn't necessarily come out of my way for it as there are other crepe places. However, this place will do the trick to satisfy your crepe cravings and there's plenty of seating. They will bring your crepe to you, if you're sitting in to eat.
I ordered the Dulce Le Leche Crepe, which was around $8. That's a decent price. It was pretty good, but perhaps I should have gotten a crepe with more fillings in it. My crepe just had a thin layer of it and I was still hungry afterwards. I'll definitely come back to try their other crepes. If sweet crepes aren't your thing, they also have savory crepes, omelettes, toast, waffles and etc. There's something for everyone!
I came in, said hello and good morning, and asked for an americano to go, my friend's dog in tow as I was on the way home from the dog park. The employee did not even greet me, or look at me as I spoke to him — just stared down disapprovingly at the quiet and well-behaved dog. After a few moments of awkward silence (during which the coffee could have been prepared, paid for, and me on my way) I finally asked, "would you rather not serve me because of her?" He said no, in a very rude tone.
I get that not everyone loves dogs, but there is a tactful way to handle every situation, and this was not it.
Not my fav crepes. Not the worst ones either. We were craving dessert and this was something open in the area, but it wouldn't be my go-to. I find that the crepe consistency just didn't work. It was almost more like a sweet tortilla vs a light and thin and moist crepe. My fillings of ricotta and lemon were really delightful, but the vehicle for those flavors was just ehhh. It was a nice solve for hitting my sweet tooth, but for getting the crepe thing right, it just wasn't.
I would say this place deserves 3.5 stars to be honest. I love the concept. It's a cute little crepe and wine sit down in the upper east side. And the best part? It's open late. Came here with some friends on a Saturday night around 10:30pm. It was easy to find seats for a party of 4. Their crepes were huge and cost around $8-$11 dollars. I don't mind paying that much for dessert and think that is reasonable. Some of my friends didn't. The only complaint I really have about this place is the machinery to make the crepes makes it really hot in this small cafe. I wish they had more air-conditioning to balance that out. Have not tried their drinks selection but if I have to chance to go back, I will.
The largest variety of crepes outside of France, Bonjour Crepes & Wines is worth a stop for the Francophile in your life.
Yeah, this was built for millennials, or at least a younger crowd. After all, is there anything trendier than crepes and wine…together? Whatever the reason, Bonjour Crepes & Wine (which is French for "Hello Sugary Calories & Early Alcoholism") really is quite good, offering not only your sweet crepes but those underrated savory crepes with some unique flavor combinations. My girlfriend and I ordered the White Chocolate & Pistachio puree ($8.00). The white chocolate was served hot and complemented the pistachio perfectly. The crepe itself was a bit crisper than I was used to (but I still liked it), and the puree leaked everywhere, but it was so good I didn't care if anyone saw me licking the plate.
Overall, I can't think of a better Sunday than crepes and wine. Definitely swing by and say Bonjour.
